Abstract

Procedimiento mejorado para descomponer minerales de cromo, en la descomposición de una cromita o un residuo conteniendo cromo, donde el material que contiene cromo se descompone con un compuesto alcalino en presencia de oxígeno y un diluyente a una temperatura superior a unos 800ºC y a continuación se lixivia, caracterizado porque comprende precalcinar el material que contiene el cromo, en caso dado después de agregar un aditivo con anterioridad a la adición del compuesto alcalino.
