Abstract

Un procedimiento para el tratamiento, sin sinterización previa, de residuos de plomo en los que más del 70% del plomo está presente en forma de sulfatos de plomo, que comprende la introducción de dichos residuos, juntamente con un reductor que contiene carbono, y juntamente con fundentes que reaccionan para dar una escoria que contiene FeO, CaO y SiO2, directamente en un horno eléctrico que funciona a una temperatura de 1000ª 1500ºC en la capa de escoria, para producir un plomo impuro fundido en el horno.
