Abstract
Un dispositivo capaz de inyectar un gas en forma de pequeñas burbujas independientes, por debajo de la superficie, en una masa de metal en estado de fusión contenida en un recinto, dispositivo que comprende, en combinación: 1) un eje capaz de girar acoplado por su extremo superior a unos medios propulsores o de accionamiento y sujeto fijamente por su extremo inferior a un rotor dotado de paletas; 2) un manguito estacionario que rodea a dicho eje y va fijamente sujeto por su extremidad inferior a un estator dotado de paletas, que contiene una pluralidad de canales verticales entre dicha s paletas, 3) un pasaje que se extiende en sentido axil para transportar y descargar dicho gas en la citada masa de metal, constituido por las superficies interiores de dichos manguito y estator y la superficie exterior de dicho eje, y 4) unos medios para suministrar gas a la extremidad superior de dicho pasaje, a presión suficiente para inyectarlo en la masa fundida , con lo cual, al producirse la rotación de dicho rotor y el suministro de dicho paso de gas, el gas es inyectado en dicho metal en fusión y subdividido en burbujas de gas discretas o desunidas, induciéndose un diseño de circulación de dicho metal fundido que produce una intensa agitación, de tal modo que esencialmente la totalidad de la masa de metal en fusión contenida en dicho recinto se pone en íntimo contacto con las burbujas de gas
