Abstract
A marine structure has around its lower part a plurality of submerged outboard pile sleeves 14 and is secured to the waterbed 12 by piles 22 which are either each pulled into a sleeve 14 by a draiwline 23 carried round a pulley in the mouth of the sleeve, Fig. 1, or which are each lowered into a sleeve 14 through a partly submerged raisable pile guide 40, Fig. 9, registering with the sleeve 14, the pile guide 40 being raisd after the pile has ben driven into the waterbed.
