Un terminal para elementos de resistencia de calentamiento eléctrico que tienen un electrodo de entrada, en el que el elemento de resistencia de calentamiento comprende un hilo delgado de un material muy resistente a altas temperaturas, que comprende de preferencia esencialmente disiliciuro de molibdeno, MoSi2 cuyo hilo tiene, al menos en uno de sus extremos, un terminal de un material de una conductividad mejor que la del elemento de resistencia y que tiene un área en sección transversal que es considerablemente mayor que la del hilo de resistencia, caracterizado porque el terminal comprende una funda externo, de pared comparativamente delgada de un material electricamente buen conductor que permite la conformación por prensado, pero que es no obstante rígido, y cuya funda tiene la configuración de un manguito que en uno de sus extremos se une suavemente con una lengüeta prensada plana que tiene un agujero u otra abertura cualquiera para recibir un miembro conductor de corriente, conteniendo dicha funda un relleno de un material deformable o flexible buen conductor, preferiblemente aluminio, en cuyo relleno está introducido por fusión el extremo del hilo del elemento de material muy resistente a altas temperaturas.
