Abstract

The invention relates to a screwless terminal or connecting clamp for electrical conductors (6). A clamping spring (3) is provided for this purpose, held in a housing (2), the clamping spring (3) being of annular or hairpin design and being split into two clamping spring parts by a slot. A separating wall, integrally formed on a clamping slide (13) is guided in a movable manner in the slot. Clamping shoulders (16) on the clamping slide (13) cause the ends (5) of the clamping spring parts to lock behind latching projections (11) on the latching limbs (10) of the clamping spring (3). When the conductor (6) is pushed in, the conductors (6) come into contact with the ends (9) of the latching limbs (10) and lift the lock such that the conductors (6) are clamped against an equipment terminal rail (8). The clamp according to the invention is provided for the independent clamping of at least two conductors, the opening of all the clamping spring parts being achievable by the common clamping slide (13).
