Abstract

1. Una esponja de drenaje, destinada a colocarse alrededor de un tubo de traqueotomía después de la inserción del tubo en el cuerpo de un paciente, consistiendo dicha esponja en una lámina de un material absorbente plegada en una configuración multicapa y que tiene una primera hendidudura que se extiede hacia dentro desde un borde lateral de la lámina plegada, hacia la parte central de la lámina, y que tiene su extremo interior distanciado de los otros bordes laterales de la lámina plegada, y una seguda hendidura que cruza a la primera hendidura en un lugar ligeramente separado del extremo interior de la primera hendidura, estando los extremos de la segunda hendidura separados de los bordes laterales de la lámina plegada. 2. Una esponja de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en la cual las longitudes de las partes de la segunda hendidura, a lados opuestos de la primera hendidura, son aproximadamente iguales a la longitud de la parte de la primera hendidura comprendida entre la unión de las hendiduras y su extremo interior. 3. Una esponja de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en la cual la primera hendidura se extiende hacia dentro desde una línea de pliegue de la lámina plegada. 4. Una esponja de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en la cual el material absorbente es un material no tejido. 5. Una esponja de drenaje.
