Abstract

Un dispositivo para controlar la posición espacial de, y seguir el movimiento de, un objeto que tiene una superficie esférica o casi esférica (104), que comprende: un componente de proyección (102) que incluye al menos un elemento de emisión de luz (110), donde dicho componente de proyección (102) proyecta al menos cuatro puntos de luz (112) sobre la superficie (104); un componente de captura de imagen (120) adecuado para capturar una pluralidad temporal de campos de imagen de los al menos cuatro puntos de luz (112) en la superficie (104), donde al menos uno de los campos de imagen es una imagen de control; y un componente informático (160) conectado de forma operativa al componente de captura de imagen (120), dicho componente informático (160) adecuado para (i) recibir las imágenes del componente de captura de imagen (120), (ii) situar cada punto en cada campo de imagen, y caracterizado por que además es adecuado para (iii) determinar un centro de la superficie (104) basándose en los puntos en los que se forman imágenes para cada campo de imagen, donde al menos dos de los al menos cuatro puntos de luz (112) son no coplanares en la superficie (104).
