Abstract

Válvula de compuerta, del tipo que comprende por una parte un cuerpo que presenta un conducto de flujo horizontal y una caja de eje vertical que desemboce radialmente en este conducto, estando prolongada esta caja por una superficie de asiento en dos partes simétricas con relación a dos planos perpendiculares que contienen el eje de la caja y uno de los cuales contiene el eje de flujo y, por otra parte un obturador provisto de un cordón de estanqueidad y guiado en traslación vertical en la caja y en el conducto de flujo, caracterizada porque el obturador comprende sobre al menos una cara, en el interior de su cordón de estanqueidad, un vano de guía con generatrices verticales en forme general de U abierta hacia arriba que se extiende desde su extremidad inferior hasta una región situada por encima de su plano ecuatorial y que está en prominencia en cada nivel con relación al cordón de estanqueidad, comprendiendo el cuerpo entre la cavidad de flujo y la superficie de asiento, del lado correspondiente a la caja, un vano de guía complementario con generatrices verticales que se extienden desde la parte superior, de la superficie de asiento hasta una región situada por debajo del plano ecuatorial y que presenta, visto según el eje de flujo, una forma en C abierta hacia abajo.
