Abstract

Un dispositivo (2) de iluminación que comprende: - una fuente (210) de luz que tiene una dirección (20) de emisión hacia delante principal, y - una cubierta (220) en la cual se dispone la fuente de luz, en donde la cubierta comprende una porción (225) superior que tiene propiedades de dispersión y que está dispuesta para reflejar una parte de la luz desde la fuente de luz lateralmente y hacia atrás con respecto a dicha dirección de emisión hacia delante principal y transmitir una parte de la luz desde la fuente de luz, caracterizado porque partículas de dispersión son embebidas en la cubierta, siendo uniforme en la concentración de las partículas de dispersión en la cubierta, y porque la porción superior de la cubierta es más gruesa que una porción lateral de la cubierta.
