Abstract
Un método para determinar una concentración de glucosa con un sistema que tiene una tira de prueba y un medidor que tiene un circuito de prueba, incluyendo un microprocesador, comprendiendo el método: iniciar una reacción química entre un electrodo de referencia y un segundo electrodo de trabajo revestido de una capa de reactivo y entre el electrodo de referencia y un primer electrodo de trabajo revestido de una capa de reactivo de la tira de prueba; muestrear una pluralidad de corrientes de prueba en el primer y el segundo electrodos de trabajo después de que la muestra de sangre se ha aplicado a la tira de prueba para iniciar la reacción química; en donde el muestreo comprende determinar una proporción de corriente de cada corriente de prueba respectiva muestreada a 1, o 1,1, o 1,12 segundos después del inicio de la reacción química de cada uno del segundo y del primer electrodos de trabajo; y consultar si la proporción de corriente del segundo electrodo de trabajo con el primer electrodo de trabajo es menor que K, y si es así, derivar una concentración de glucosa en base a la pluralidad de corrientes de prueba devolviendo de otro modo un error, en donde K comprende un valor de 1,0 a 1,4 o de 1,0 a 2,0.
