Abstract

Bomba centrífuga de flujo doble, en particular bomba de agua de refrigeración para un motor diesel de barco o bomba de transporte de agua de lastre, con una carcasa de bomba (2) y con una rueda de aletas (7) de flujo doble dispuesta asegurada contra el giro en un árbol (5) accionable rotativamente, con la cual un fluido desde dos lados axiales puede ser aspirado de una zona de baja presión (10) y puede ser transportado en dirección radial a una zona de sobrepresión (11), estando estanqueizada la zona de baja presión (10) con respecto a la zona de sobrepresión (11) por medio de al menos dos ranuras de estanqueidad (19, 20) distanciadas axialmente, estando las ranuras de estanqueidad (19, 20) configuradas como ranuras axiales que se extienden en dirección de la circunferencia así como en dirección radial, cuyo ancho de ranura (s) es menor que la distancia radial (a) de la rueda de aletas (7) a todas las piezas de construcción dispuestas con distancia radial a la rueda de aletas (7), caracterizada por que la bomba centrífuga está proyectada para el transporte de un flujo volumétrico de una escala de valores entre 500 m3/h y 4000 m3/h y está realizada en tipo de construcción vertical, y por que el árbol (5) está apoyado exclusivamente en un solo lado, y por que las ranuras de estanqueidad (19, 20) están configuradas axialmente entre la rueda de aletas (7) y la carcasa de bomba (2) estacionaria y/o una pieza postiza (24) estacionaria.
