Abstract

Método de conformación de un elemento (1) estructural hueco de sección cerrada, que comprende: conformar por prensado un componente (10) de metal laminar superior con una sección generalmente abierta y configurado con dos alas (12, 14) de interfaz que se extienden hacia abajo esencialmente paralelas; conformar por prensado un componente (20) de metal laminar inferior con una sección generalmente abierta y configurado con dos alas (22, 24) de interfaz que se extienden hacia arriba esencialmente paralelas; y soldar a tope entre sí las alas (12, 14, 22, 24) de interfaz de los componentes (10, 20) de metal laminar superior e inferior para conformar un elemento estructural hueco continuo con una sección transversal variable, caracterizado por que antes de la soldadura, las alas (12, 14, 22, 24) de interfaz de los componentes de metal laminar superior e inferior se cortan de forma complementaria usando un corte de láser de cinco ejes mientras los componentes (10, 20) de metal laminar superior e inferior se soportan rígidamente en conformidad dimensional mediante un útil (40).
