Abstract

Un proceso para preparar teicoplanina purificada; el proceso comprende los pasos de a) adsorber teicoplanina en una resina hidrófoba de adsorción; b) desorber teicoplanina de dicha resina usando un medio que contiene agua y un solvente orgánico miscible con agua; c) tratar una solución que comprende teicoplanina con carbón vegetal, seguido de la remoción del carbón vegetal; d) someter una solución que comprende teicoplanina a un proceso de ultrafiltración sobre membranas con un corte de 3-100 kDa, en cuyo caso la solución contiene más de 20 % (v/v) de un solvente orgánico miscible con agua y no más de 90 % (v/v) de un solvente orgánico miscible con agua; e) opcionalmente concentrar y/o desalinizar una solución que contiene teicoplanina después de la ultrafiltración definida en el paso d) mediante ultrafiltración sobre membranas con un corte de 1000 Da; f) obtener teicoplanina purificada.
