Abstract

Un método para permitir a un receptor de posición (805) determinar soluciones de posición a partir de señales de posicionamiento (803-1, 803-2, 803-3, 804-3) de una pluralidad de redes de posicionamiento autónomas (801, 802) dentro de un sistema de posicionamiento, en donde: cada red de posicionamiento autónoma (801, 802) está sincronizada con una base de tiempo diferente; cada una de dicha pluralidad de redes de posicionamiento autónomas (801, 802) comprende uno o más dispositivos de unidad de posicionamiento (801-1, 801-2, 801-3, 802-1, 802-2, 802-3); y cuando el receptor de posición (805) está situado cerca del límite de la primera y segunda de dicha pluralidad de redes de posicionamiento autónomas (801, 802), dicho receptor de posición recibe señales de posicionamiento (803-1, 803-2, 803-3) desde uno o más dispositivos de unidad de posicionamiento (801-1, 801-2, 801-3) dentro de dicha primera red de posicionamiento autónoma (801) y señales de posicionamiento (804-3) desde uno o más dispositivos de unidad de posicionamiento (802-3) desde dicha segunda red de posicionamiento autónoma (802) y calcula su propia posición usando las señales de posicionamiento recibidas (803-1, 803-2, 803-3, 804-3), caracterizado por que: al menos un dispositivo de unidad de posicionamiento (801-3) dentro de dicha primera red de posicionamiento autónoma (801) recibe señales de posicionamiento (804-3) desde al menos un dispositivo de unidad de posicionamiento (802-3) desde dicha segunda red de posicionamiento autónoma (802), mide la diferencia de base de tiempo entre dichas primera y segunda redes de posicionamiento autónomas (801, 802) y posteriormente calcula una corrección de reloj de base de tiempo e incorpora dicha corrección de reloj de base de tiempo en sus señales de posicionamiento (803-3) para transmisión; otros dispositivos de unidad de posicionamiento (801-1, 801-2) dentro de dicha primera red de posicionamiento autónoma (801) reciben y retransmiten dichas señales de posicionamiento (803-3) incorporando dicha corrección de reloj de base de tiempo; y dicho receptor de posición (805) recibe señales de posicionamiento (803-1, 803-2, 803-3) incorporando dicha corrección de reloj de base de tiempo desde cualquier dispositivo de unidad de posicionamiento (801-1, 801-2, 801-3) dentro de dicha primera red de posicionamiento autónoma (801) y aplica dicha corrección de reloj de base de tiempo a señales de posicionamiento (804-3) recibidas desde dichos uno o más dispositivos de unidad de posicionamiento (802-3) desde dicha segunda red de posicionamiento autónoma (802); de manera que las señales de posicionamiento (803-1, 803-2, 803-3, 804-3) recibidas desde dispositivos de unidad de posicionamiento (801-1, 801-2, 801-3, 802-3) desde dichas primera y segunda redes de posicionamiento autónomas (801, 802) que están sincronizadas con diferentes bases de tiempo se pueden usar para soluciones de posición.
