Abstract
Aparato para calentamiento por inducción de una pieza de trabajo continua o discreta, el aparato comprende: una fuente de alimentación (10) que tiene una salida de CA con modulación de anchura de impulsos; un inductor (12) conectado a la salida de CA para generar un campo magnético de CA; unos medios para producir un movimiento relativo entre la pieza de trabajo continua o discreta y el inductor para acoplar magnéticamente secciones transversales progresivas de la pieza de trabajo continua o discreta con el campo magnético; y unos medios para la detección de las secciones transversales progresivas acopladas magnéticamente con el campo magnético de CA; caracterizado por unos medios para ajustar selectivamente la frecuencia de la salida de CA cuando cada una de las secciones transversales progresivas se acopla magnéticamente con el campo magnético de CA para el tratamiento térmico por inducción en respuesta a un cambio en la dimensión en sección transversal de las secciones transversales progresivas acopladas magnéticamente con el campo magnético de CA; y unos medios para ajustar selectivamente la potencia de la salida de CA mediante el cambio del ciclo de trabajo de la salida de CA cuando cada una de las secciones transversales progresivas se acopla con el campo magnético de CA para el tratamiento térmico por inducción y la frecuencia de la salida de CA se ajusta en respuesta al cambio en la dimensión en sección transversal de las secciones transversales progresivas.
