Máquina para producir caramelos de una masa (2) de azúcar en barra o material similar, que comprende: - una matriz anular giratoria (6) que tiene un eje de giro y un número de cámaras de prensado (11) espaciadas circunferencialmente, que se extienden radialmente, - medios de suministro (4, 5) para la alimentación de una barra (2) en las cámaras de prensado (11) - medios de cizalladura (7, 10) en cada cámara de prensado (11) para cortar piezas (1) de la barra de material, - un par de troqueles interno y externo (9, 8) por cámara de prensado para el prensado de la pieza en la forma deseada, mientras que al menos el troquel interno (9) es desplazable durante el prensado y el troquel interno (9) es impulsado por una curva de prensado (15), caracterizado porque la curva de prensado (15) comprende dos partes (15', 15"), que son ajustables individualmente y porque la curva (15) comprende una zona de reducción de presión (32), en la que se inserta un palito en la pieza cortada.
