Abstract
Somier para muebles de acostarse y similares, que comprende un bastidor y elementos de soporte dispuestos en este bastidor para soportar un colchón superior y cuya parte de cabeza puede bascular alrededor de un eje de basculación dispuesto transversalmente respecto al eje longitudinal del mismo y puede situarse de esta manera en diferentes posiciones inclinadas, de manera que la parte de cabeza adopte una posición angular respecto al resto de la superficie para acostarse del somier, en la cual puede fijarse la parte de cabeza mediante un dispositivo de regulación dispuesto entre la parte de cabeza y el bastidor del somier, caracterizado porque el eje (A) de basculación mencionado divide la parte (6) de cabeza en dos zonas (6a, 6b), estando situada la más pequeña (6b) de estas zonas hacia el extremo (F) de los pies del somier, habiéndose elegido la ubicación del eje (A) de basculación de tal manera que la zona más pequeña (6b) mencionada de la parte (6) de cabeza es basculada por debajo de la superficie (L) para acostarse del somier cuando se levanta la zona mayor (6a), formando con ello en la superficie para acostarse una escotadura (M) para la parte de los hombros de una persona acostada en posición de decúbito lateral.
