Aparato plegador-apilador de papel impreso, cuyo papel se pliega después de pasar a través del extremo terminal de un dispositivo de guía de papel y después se apila sobre un dispositivo de acumulación de papel, cuyo dispositivo de acumulación de papel desciende de acuerdo con la altura del papel apilado sobre el dispositivo de acumulación, para mantener una distancia aproximadamente constante entre el extremo del terminal del dispositivo de guía del papel y la superficie superior del papel apilado sobre el dispositivo de acumulación de papel, caracterizado porque se dota al dispositivo de acumulación de papel de dos placas de acumulación, que sostienen ambas partes marginales del papel apilado sobre sí, y que basculan pivotalmente, de manera que el ángulo de las placas de acumulación se controla de tal modo que cuanto mayor distancia hay entre el extremo terminal del dispositivo de guía de papel, y el dispositivo de acumulación del papel, tanto mayor será la inclinación descendente de lasplacas de acumulación.
