Abstract

Sistema para reparar los frontales de piquera en alto horno. Partiendo de la utilización de un cañón tapapiqueras (7), acoplable al frente de la piquera (5) para suministrar a ésta última una masa densa de cierre del orificio de salida para el arrabio, consiste en dotar a la boquilla (10) de dicho cañón (7) de una camisa (11) proyección axial de dicha boquilla (10) y destinada a alojar en su interior a un anillo refractario (12) de cota axial adecuada para rellenar el rehundido (9) que por desgaste se ha producido en el frente (8) de la piquera (5), de manera que en la propia maniobra de cierre de la piquera (5) el anillo refractario (12) queda depositado en dicho rehundido (9) al retraerse la camisa (11) sobre la boquilla (10) por incidir topes exteriores de la misma sobre el frente (8) de la piquera (5), quedando dicho anillo (12) integrado en la propia piquera, fijado por la propia masa de cierre, rellenando el rehundido (9), con lo que se consigue la automática reparación de la piqueraparalelamente al cierre de la misma.
