Unidad de engomado por pulverización que comprende: - al menos una engomadora por pulverización (1) con una tobera de engomado (3) provista de un eyector de adhesivo (4); - medios de obturación (8 y 11) proyectados para mantener el eyector (4) cerrado durante las detenciones de las operaciones de engomado, dichos medios obturadores (8 y 11) acercándose y alejándose del eyector (4), durante tales detenciones, entre una posición abierta (A) y una posición cerrada (C) del eyector (4); - medios impulsores (13) para mover los medios obturadores (8 y 11) entre tales posiciones abierta y cerrada (A y C); - medios aplicadores (15) para aplicar una substancia líquida (16) sobre una posición operativa (11) de los medios obturadores (8 y 11), los medios aplicadores (15) comprendiendo medios (17) para alimentar la substancia líquida (16) y medios dosificadores (21) conectados con los medios de alimentación (17) y proyectados para dosificar la substancia líquida (16), caracterizada por el hecho que losmedios dosificadores (21) comprenden una esfera (28) para dosificar y aplicar la substancia líquida (16)sobre los medios obturadores (8 y 11), los medios aplicadores (15) aplicando la substancia líquida (16) sobre la porción operativa (11) de los medios obturadores (8 y 11) mientras los medios obturadores (8 y 11) se mueven entre la posición abierta y cerrada (A y C) y al pasar rozan contra la esfera (28).
