Abstract
Un dispositivo de flujo de fluidos incluye un activador, un transmisor de RF, un receptor de RF con puertos, y un procesador. El transmisor de RF se configura y dispone a fin de producir múltiples pulsos de energía de RF, espaciados en el tiempo para formar un campo sensor. El receptor de RF con puertos se configura y dispone a fin de recibir energía de RF reflejada por los objetos dentro del campo sensor. El procesador se acopla al receptor de RF con puertos para evaluar la energía de RF reflejada. El procesador también se acopla con el activador, y se configura y dispone a fin de activar el activador en respuesta a la energía de RF reflejada, para controlar el flujo de fluidos. Además, un nuevo sensor de radar de baja potencia opera proporcionando pulsos de radar que están espaciados en el tiempo de manera no uniforme. Durante la operación, una ráfaga de pulsos se inicia en el transmisor. Entre cada ráfaga hay un periodo de tiempo de reposo en el cual el transmisor no está transmitiendo energía de RF.
