LA INVENCION DESCRIBE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA DISPARAR EQUIPOS DE SEGURIDAD PASIVA DESTINADOS A LA PROTECCION DE OCUPANTES DE UN VEHICULO, EN ESPECIAL AIRBAGS, TENSORES DE CINTURONES, CONMUTADORES DE CIERRE DEL CINTURON Y ESTRIBO ANTIVUELCO, EN EL CUAL UNOS SENSORES ELECTRICOS (31, 32), UN CIRCUITO DE EVALUACION (1) QUE ANALIZA LAS SEÑALES DE ACELERACION DE ESTOS SENSORES Y UNOS ORGANOS DE DISPARO HACEN QUE SE ACTIVEN LOS DISPOSITIVOS DE SEGURIDAD (2A, 2B, 2C) CUANDO LAS SEÑALES DE ACELERACION SUGIEREN UN ESTADO DEL VEHICULO PELIGROSO PARA SUS OCUPANTES. EN VIRTUD DE LA INVENCION, UNA FUNCION DE EVALUACION GENERA VALORES CARACTERISTICOS A PARTIR DE UNA CUANTIFICACION (4) DE LAS SEÑALES DE SENSOR, QUE A CONTINUACION SE DIFERENCIAN Y SE LLEVAN A UNA FUNCION DE CANTIDADES. LOS VALORES INTEGRADOS DE ESTAS CANTIDADES SE COMPARAN CON UN UMBRAL DE DISPARO, DE MANERA QUE EN SU CASO PUEDE TENER LUGAR EL DISPARO DEL DISPOSITIVO DE SEGURIDAD. ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO DE LA INVENCION CONDUCE A UNA CLASIFICACION COMPLETA DE LAS COLISIONES DE VEHICULOS Y AL MISMO TIEMPO ES FACIL DE PONER EN PRACTICA, TANTO DESDE EL PUNTO DE VISTA DEL HARDWARE COMO DEL SOFTWARE.
