Abstract
Procedimiento para la obtención de poliestireno, de copolímeros bloque de estireno-butadieno o de poliestireno resistente al impacto mediante la polimerización o mediante la copolimerización aniónica, continua, de monómeros de estireno o de dieno con alquilos o arilos de los metales alcalinos A, como iniciadores de la polimerización, caracterizado porque se lleva a cabo la polimerización en presencia de un alquilo o de un arilo metálico B de la fórmula R2nM2 como regulador de la velocidad, en la que M2: significa un elemento n-valente del grupo 2a o 2b del Sistema Periódico de los elementos o significa aluminio, y R2: significan, independientemente entre sí, hidrógeno, halógeno, alquilo con 1 a 20 átomos de carbono o arilo con 6 a 20 átomos de carbono, con la condición de que, al menos, un resto R2 signifique alquilo con 1 a 20 átomos de carbono o arilo con 6 a 20 átomos de carbono, y empleándose como disolvente el tolueno, el ciclohexano, el metilciclohexano, el hexano, el heptano, el etilbenceno o la decalina y siendo la concentración inicial en monómeros del 50 % en peso como mínimo.
