Abstract
Procedimiento para la fabricación de bandas de acero con carga optimizada, con espesor variable constantemente en el sentido longitudinal de la banda, siendo realizada la banda de acero (7) mediante fundición entre dos cilindros refrigerados (1, 2) con una hendidura variable de paso, caracterizándose el procedimiento porque, dependiendo de la trayectoria de la banda fundida pasante (7), la refrigeración de los cilindros, que actúa sobre la masa fundida de acero vertida en la cuña constituida por los cilindros, y, por consiguiente, el espesor de la banda de acero, son modificados de manera que la banda de acero sufra una variación de espesor, referida longitudinalmente, desde el 10% hasta el 40%.
