DICHO PROCEDIMIENTO CONSISTE EN AGLOMERAR EN PRESENCIA DE AGUA COMO UNICO ADITIVO, UNA CARGA DE ALIMENTACION DE HIDROXIAPATITA EN POLVO, CON UNA PUREZA DE AL MENOS EL 97 %, Y CON IMPUREZAS METALICAS QUE SUPEREN LAS 500 PPM, PARA FORMAR PARTICULAS DE HIDROXIAPATITA CON UN TAMAÑO NO SUPERIOR A 350 MICRONES. A CONTINUACION, DICHAS PARTICULAS SE SECAN Y SINTERIZAN A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE APROX. 1.100 Y 1,200 °C, PRODUCIENDO PARTICULAS DE HIDROXIAPATITA ESFERICAS, NO POROSAS, DE TAMAÑO NO SUPERIOR A 250 MICRONES Y DE DENSIDAD AL MENOS 3,00 G/CC.
