Abstract
Una batería de almacenamiento, que comprende dos semi-células que están en contacto electroquímico entre sí a través un conductor iónico eléctricamente neutro, donde una de dichas semi-células comprende un ánodo y la otra semi-célula comprende un cátodo en forma de una sal de Fe(VI) de fase sólida en una cantidad de al menos 1 % del peso de la semi-célula, por lo que se consigue un almacenamiento eléctrico a través de reducción electroquímica a una valencia de sal de hierro menor que Fe(VI).
