Abstract

Mejoras en la construcción de bombas de engranajes caracterizadas porque comprenden dos engranajes inter-engranados, cuyos árboles están soportados en cada extremo por manguitos cilíndricos que se ajustan en los taladros superpuestos del cuerpo de bomba dentro de los cuales giran los engranajes, siendo los manguitos en un extremo de la bomba flotantes axilmente y estando sometidos, en sus caras terminales alejadas de los engranajes, a la presión de fluido del lado de empuje de la bomba, en que un anillo de junta está interpuesto entre dicha cara Terminal de cada manguito flotante y la carta Terminal adyacente del correspondiente taladro en el cuerpo de bomba, con medios para alojar el anillo de junta radialmente hacia dentro con respecto al borde periférico del manguito, por lo que el anillo de junta separa una zona circundante predeterminada del manguito sometida a la presión de empuje de la bomba, desde un área de baja presión dentro del anillo comunicando con el lado de admisión de la bomba.
