DICHO POLIURETANO NO PIGMENTADO PUEDE COMPRENDER, OPCIONALMENTE, UN ADITIVO FUNCIONAL, A CONDICION DE QUE LA PRESENCIA DE DICHO ADITIVO NO INCREMENTE LA OPACIDAD DEL PAPEL EN MAS DEL 1 %. TRAS LA APLICACION DEL POLIURETANO, SE DEJA SECAR EL PAPEL. LA COMPOSICION DE REVESTIMIENTO PROPORCIONA UNA PELICULA, CUANDO SE VIERTE SOBRE UNA SUPERFICIE DE VIDRIO, CON UNA DUREZA DE KONIG ENTRE 15 Y 130 SEGUNDOS Y ASIMISMO, PASA UN ENSAYO DE RESISTENCIA AL AGUA DEFINIDO POR LAS SIGUIENTES FASES: A) LA FORMULACION TOTAL DESTINADA AL REVESTIMIENTO SE VIERTE SOBRE UNA PLACA DE VIDRIO, DE FORMA QUE SE PRODUCE UNA PELICULA CON UN PESO SECO DE 80 G/M{SUP,2}; B) LA PELICULA SE SECA INICIALMENTE A 23 (GRADOS) C.
