EL VIDRIO BASE ES UNA COMPOSICION DE SOSA-CALVIVASILICE, AÑADIENDOSE HIERRO Y SELENIO COMO COLORANTES. EN UNA ADAPTACION EN PARTICULAR DE LA INVENCION, SE PUEDE OBTENER UN VIDRIO DE COLOR BRONCE CON UNA TRANSMITACIA LUMINOSA (C.I.E. ILUMINANTE A) DEL 70% Y MAYOR EN UN GROSOR DE 4,1 MILIMETROS, UTILIZANDO COMO COLORANTES 0.4 A 0.6% DE PESO DE FE{SUB,2}O{SUB,3}, 0.09 A 0.17% DE PESO DE FEO Y 3 A 11 PPM SE.
