SE DESCRIBE UN PROCESO PARA LA PREPARACION DE (4S)-(3,4DICLOROFENILO)-(3,4-DIHIDRO)-1(2H)-NAFTALENONA QUIRAL, EN DONDE 4-(3,4-DICLOROFENILO)-(3,4-DIHIDRO)-1(2H)-NAFTALENONA RACEMICA ES ASIMETRICAMENTE REDUCIDA MEDIANTE EL CONTACTO DE LA TETRALONA RACEMICA CON UN REACTIVO ASIMETRICO PARA PRODUCIR UNA MEZCLA DE ALCOHOLES CIS Y TRANS, SEPARACION DE LOS ALCOHOLES CIS DE LOS TRANS, Y OXIDACION DEL ENANTIOMERO (4S) DE LOS ALCOHOLES CIS Y TRANS RESULTANTES.
