Abstract
UN METODO Y APARATO MEJORADOS PARA EL TRATAMIENTO TERMICO DE COLADAS METALICAS CON NUCLEOS DE ARENA QUE PREVE LA RETIRADA DEL NUCLEO DE ARENA Y LA RECUPERACION DEL MATERIAL DE NUCLEO DE ARENA PARA REUTILIZARLO. EL METODO Y EL APARATO ELIMINAN LA NECESIDAD DE RETIRAR EL NUCLEO DE ARENA DE LA COLADA ANTES DEL TRATAMIENTO TERMICO CON LO QUE SE ELIMINA EL TRABAJO, GASTO Y POSIBLES DAÑOS A LA COLADA QUE SOLIAN OCURRIR EN LAS TECNICAS DE RETIRADA DE NUCLEOS CONVENCIONALES TALES COMO EL CINCELAMIENTO Y LA AGITACION. EL METODO CONSISTE EN CALENTAR LA COLADA CON EL NUCLEO DE ARENA DENTRO A UNA TEMPERATURA SUFICIENTE COMO PARA QUEMAR COMPLETAMENTE EL COMPONENTE AGLUTINANTE DEL NUCLEO DE ARENA. A CONTINUACION SE EXTINGUE DE LA COLADA LA ARENA QUE COMPRENDE EL NUCLEO DE ARENA A BASE DE DIRIGIR UNA CORRIENTE DE AIRE SOBRE LA PIEZA DE TRABAJO. LA ARENA ASI DESALOJADA SE RECOGE ENTONCES PARA VOLVERLA A UTILIZAR. SEGUN EL APARATO PRESENTADO, LAS COLADAS SE CALIENTAN EN UN HORNO (11) QUE TIENE UNOS VENTILADORES (44) PARA DIRIGIR UNA CORRIENTE DE AIRE SOBRE LAS PIEZAS DE TRABAJO. LA ARENA DESALOJADA DE LAS COLADAS CAE EN UNA ARTESA (50) QUE HAY EN LA PORCION INFERIOR DEL HORNO, DONDE ES RECOGIDA Y TRANSPORTADA A UN RECIPIENTE DE RECOGIDA CENTRAL (60) PARA VOLVERLA A UTILIZAR. EN OTRO ASPECTO DEL APARATO PRESENTADO, LAS COLADAS SE SUMERGEN DESPUES EN UN TANQUE DE ENFRIAMIENTO. EL TANQUE DE ENFRIAMIENTO INCLUYE UNOS ELEMENTO DE AGITACION PARA AGITAR AGUA SOBRE LAS COLADAS PARA DESALOJAR EL RESTO DE LA ARENA. LA ARENA CAE EN EL FONDO DEL TANQUE, DONDE LA ARENA Y UNA PORCION DEL AGUA SON RETIRADAS DEL TANQUE.
