Abstract

LA INVENCION SE CARACTERIZA POR EL HECHO DE QUE LAS PARTICULAS DE COMBUSTIBLE SE SELECCIONAN DE ENTRE MAGNESIO, ALUMINIO, SILICIO Y MEZCLAS DE DE LAS MISMAS, Y DE QUE LA MEZCLA EN POLVO ADICIONALMENTE CONTIENE HASTA EL 10% EN PESO DE PARTICULAS DE CARBURO DE SILICIO. LA INVENCION PROPORCIONA UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA REPARAR CUERPOS REFRACTARIOS A BASE DE OXIDO QUE PERMITE FORMAR UNA MASA REFRACTARIA DE REPARACION CON POROSIDAD ACEPTABLE.PROCEDURE AND MIXING POWDER TO REPAIR OXIDE BASED REFRACTORY BODIES. A PROCEDURE FOR REPAIRING AN OXIDE BASED REFRACTORY BODY IS DESCRIBED. THE PROCEDURE INCLUDES THE PROJECTION OF A POWDER MIXTURE AGAINST THE SURFACE OF THE SAID BODY AT A HIGH TEMPERATURE IN THE PRESENCE OF OXYGEN. THE POWDER MIX INCLUDES OXIDE PARTICLES AND FUEL PARTICLES THAT REACT EXOTHERMICALLY WITH OXYGEN TO FORM A REFRACTORY OXIDE. THE INVENTION IS CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT THE FUEL PARTICLES ARE SELECTED FROM AMONG MAGNESIUM, ALUMINUM, SILICON AND MIXTURES THEREOF, AND THAT THE POWDER MIXTURE IS ADDITIONALLY CONTAINING UP TO 10% IN PARTICULAR WEIGHT OF PARTICULES . THE INVENTION PROVIDES A PROCESS FOR REPAIRING OXIDE BASED REFRACTORY BODIES THAT ALLOWS TO FORM A REFRACTABLE REPAIR MASS WITH ACCEPTABLE POROSITY.
