SE DESCRIBE UN PROCESO PARA HACER UNA 1,4-DIAZACICLOHEPTAN-2-ONA A PARTIR DE UNA MEZCLA ("PRIMERA" MEZCLA) DE 1,3-PROPANODIAMINAS ALQUILATADAS, UNA DE LAS CUALES (SE MENCIONA COMO DIAMINA "DIANA") TIENE SUSTITUYENTES EN POSICIONES ESPECIFICAS, Y CONTIENE (I) UN GRUPO AMINO TERMINAL PRIMARIO ADYACENTE A UN ATOMO C DISUSTITUIDO (AQUI TENIENDO UN ATOMO DE N "TRABADO"), Y (II) UN GRUPO AMINO SECUNDARIO TERMINAL. LA DIAMINA DIANA, OTRAS DIAMINAS Y LA POLIAMINAS OLIGOMERICAS DE LA PRIMERA MEZCLA SE PRODUCEN ALQUILATANDO UN ACICLICO ("INICIAL") 1,3-PROPANODIPRI-MARIAMINA TENIENDO EL ATOMO N TRABADO. LA PRIMERA MEZCLA DE LAS DIAMINAS ALQUILATADAS, PREFERIBLEMENTE QUE CONTENGAN UNA PRINCIPAL PROPORCION MOLAR DE LA DIAMINA DIANA EN RELACION CON LAS OTRAS DIAMINAS ALQUILATADAS, ES REDUCTIVAMENTE ALQUILATADA, CON RESULTADOS INESPERADOS EN LA ALQUILACION REDUCTORA SOLAMENTE DE LAS DIAMINAS NO DESEADAS, PERMITIENDO A LA DIAMINA DIANA LA CUAL NO ES REDUCTIVAMENTE ALQUILATADA, PARA SER EXTRAIDA DE LA MEZCLA DE LAS DIAMINAS REDUCTIVAMENTE ALQUILATADAS.
