SE POSIBILITA LA OBTENCION DE TAUMATINA II O DE TAUMATINA I MEDIANTE LA EXPRESION, NO DE SECUENCIAS DE SUS GENES NATURALES, SINO DE GENES ARTIFICIALES, SINTETICOS Y SUBSTANCIALMENTE OPTIMIZADOS SIGUIENDO UNAS REGLAS DETERMINADAS. PREFERIBLEMENTE, DICHA EXPRESION SE REALIZA EN HONGOS FILAMENTOSOS, ESPECIALMENTE DEL TIPO GRAS, Y PARTICULARMENTE DE LAS ESPECIES CVAPENICILLIUM ROQUEFORTII, ASPERGILLUS NIGER Y CVAASPERGILLUS NIGER VARIANTE CVAAWAMORI.
