PROCEDIMIENTO DE OBTENCION DE BIOMATERIALES IMPLANTABLES COMPUESTOS DE CERAMICAS Y ANTIBIOTICOS; BIFASICOS, COMPUESTOS DE HIDROXIAPATITO, U OTRO MATERIAL CERAMICO BIOACTIVO, Y DE UN ANTIBIOTICO, ESTE ULTIMO EN PORCENTAJES DE HASTA EL 5% DE LA MASA TOTAL. DICHOS IMPLANTES SE CONFORMAN A PARTIR DE LA MEZCLA EN POLVO DE SUS COMPONENTES POR PRENSADO ISOSTATICO A TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE, A PRESIONES DE 50 A 300 MPA. LOS IMPLANTES SE UTILIZAN PARA COMBATIR INFECCIONES EN CAVIDADES OSEAS IN SITU, CUMPLIENDO DOS FUNCIONES: 1) INDUCE LA CREACION DE HUESO NUEVO, POR EFECTO DE LA BIOACTIVIDAD DEL COMPONENTE CERAMICO. 2) LIBERA DE FORMA SOSTENIDA EL ANTIBIOTICO ATACANDO LA INFECCION DE FORMA LOCAL.
