Abstract
LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN AMPLIFICADOR OPTICO, SOBRE TODO PARA LINEAS DE TELECOMUNICACION DE FIBRA OPTICA, QUE FUNCIONA CON UNA SEÑAL DE TRANSMISION EN UNA GAMA DE LONGITUDES DE ONDA PREDETERMINADAS, TENIENDO EL AMPLIFICADOR UNA FIBRA OPTICA ACTIVA EMISORA LASERICA IMPURIFICADA CON ERBIO, LA CUAL CONTIENE UNA SUSTANCIA DE IMPURIFICACION ADICIONAL DISTRIBUIDA A LO LARGO DE LA FIBRA, PRESENTANDO DICHA SUSTANCIA DE IMPURIFICACION UNA ABSORCION, PARA UNA LUZ QUE TIENE UNA LONGITUD DE ONDA MENOR DE 1,540 NM, SUSTANCIALMENTE MAYOR A LA ABSORCION QUE LA SUSTANCIA DE IMPURIFICACION ADICIONAL PRESENTA PARA UNA LUZ QUE TIENE UNA LONGITUD DE ONDA QUE OSCILA ENTRE 1,540 NM Y EL LIMITE SUPERIOR DE LA GAMA DE LONGITUDES DE ONDA PREDETERMINADAS DE LA SEÑAL DE TRANSMISION; PREFERIBLEMENTE, LA SUSTANCIA DE IMPURIFICACION ADICIONAL SERA SAMARIO. EL SAMARIO QUE SE ENCUENTRA EN LA FIBRA ES CAPAZ DE ABSORBER LA EMISION DE ERBIO ESPONTANEA, QUE CONSTITUIRIA UN PUNTO DE GENERACION DE RUIDOS, HACIENDO QUE UNA SEÑAL PUEDA SER AMPLIFICADA EN UNA GAMA DE LONGITUDES DE ONDA SUSTANCIALMENTE CORRESPONDIENTES AL NIVEL DE TOLERANCIA DE LOS EMISORES LASERICOS DE SEÑAL DISPONIBLES EN EL MERCADO.
