Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a mejoras a fibra óptica que comprende sustancias drogantes de emisión láser, particularmente para usarse en amplificadores de fibra óptica para líneas de telecomunicación óptica, dicha fibra óptica contiene erbio como la sustancia drogante de emisión láser, adaptada para recibir una señal de telecomunicación desde un emisor laser, en un rango de longitud de onda prefijado, caracterizadas por el hecho de que dicha fibra óptica comprende una sustancia drogante adicional, distribuida a lo largo de la fibra, dicha sustancia drogante muestra una absorción para la uz teniendo una longitud de onda menor de 1,540 nm, sustancialmente superior a la absorción que esa sustancia drogante adicional muestra para una luz teniendo una longitud de onda variando de 1,540 nm al límite superior de la gama de longitud de onda predeterminado de la señal de transmisión.
