SE PRESENTA UN ABSORBENTE DE UN ELEMENTO DE METAL EN FORMA DE HIDROGEL PREPARADO MEDIANTE EL TRATAMIENTO DE UN TANINO CONDENSADO CON UNA BASE EN LA PRESENCIA O EN LA AUSENCIA DE UN ALDEHIDO DE FORMA QUE SE EVITE LA PRECIPITACION DEL TANINO ENLAZADO Y SE PRODUZCA UN HIDROGEL. EL ABSORBENTE PRESENTADO EXHIBE UNAS ALTAS PROPIEDADES DE ABSORCION PARA ELEMENTOS METALICOS Y UNA BAJA RESISTENCIA AL FLUJO CUANDO SE USA EN UNA COLUMNA EMPAQUETADA. TAMBIEN SE PRESENTAN METODOS PARA SU USO CON EL ABSORBENTE DE LA INVENCION.
