SE TRATA DE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA EL CONTROL Y LA REGULACION DE UNA MAQUINA QUE FUNCIONA POR LA QUEMA DE COMBUSTIBLE. ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO CALCULA MEDIANTE UNA SEÑAL DIGITAL Y BINARIA DIVERSAS MAGNITUDES COMO POR EJEMPLO EL NUMERO DE REVOLUCIONES, LA POSICION DEL EMBRAGUE, LA TEMPERATURA DEL MOTOR ETC. ESTA SEÑAL DIGITAL Y BINARIA SE TRANSFORMA EN UNA SEÑAL DE RUMBO QUE CONSISTE EN IMPULSOS DE INTENSIDAD CONSTANTE, DE TAL MANERA QUE LA DURACION DE UNA SEÑAL DE RUMBO EN UN PERIODO DE MOVIMIENTO ES PROPORCIONAL AL VALOR DE LA SEÑAL BINARIA. ESTA SEÑAL DE RUMBO SIRVE PARA CONTROLAR UN ELEMENTO DE AJUSTE ELECTROMECANICO. ADEMAS DE ESTO LA SEÑAL DE RUMBO ES DIVIDIDA EN IMPULSOS SINGULARES SEGUN EL VALOS DE LA SEÑAL BINARIA. LA DURACION DE ESTOS IMPULSOS SINGULARES ES PROPORCIONAL AL VALOR DE LA SEÑAL BINARIA. LOS IMPULSOS SINGULARES SON DISTRIBUIDOS PROPORCIONALMENTE DENTRO DE CADA UNO DE LOS PERIODOS DE MOVIMIENTO. TAMBIEN PERTENECE A LA INVENCION UN DISPOSITIVO PARA LA REALIZACION DEL PROCEDIMIENTO.
