Abstract

PURPOSE: To control a required air-fuel ratio accurately a theoretical air fuel ratio by using a corrected value which is stored in accordance with each operation state when the theoretical air-fuel ratio is placed under feedback control, thereby gaining a precise air-fuel ratio required.
CONSTITUTION: Receiving each output signal of a suction air amount sensor 11, a suction air temperature sensor 12, a water temperature sensor 13, an air-fuel ratio sensor 14, and a rotation speed sensor 15, a control circuit 20 controls each fuel injection valve 5 to perform air-fuel ratio control. Feedback control is performed on the in such a way that an air-fuel ratio approaches a theoretical air-fuel ratio basis of an output of the air fuel-ratio sensor 14 for a certain period in every specific cycle. Each value related to the feedback-controlled ratio is amended and stored in accordance with a driving condition during the feedback processing. In a period except said period, one of said amended values, suitable for the present driving condition is selected and controlled to otbain a required air-fuel ratio shifted from the theoretical air fuel ratio by a preset value.
