Abstract
EN UN PROCESO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE 1,2-DICLOROETEANO O DE DICLORURO DE ETILENO ("EDC") EN UN REACTOR DE CLORACION DIRECTA DE ALTA TEMPERATURA ("HTDC") EN QUE AL ETILENO SE LE HACE REACCIONAR CON CLORO HUMEDO QUE TENGA UN CONTENIDO DE AGUA SUPERIOR A 100 PPM PERO NO SUPERIOR A UN 1% EN PESO DEL CLORO, EL AGUA SALE DEL REACTOR ARRASTRANDO AL PRODUCTO DE EDC, BIEN EN EL GASTO GENERAL DE VAPOR (SI EL HTDC ES UN REACTOR DE AGUA HIRVIENTE) O COMO UN CHORRO SECUNDARIO LIQUIDO (SI EL HTDC NO ES UN REACTOR DE AGUA HIRVIENTE). EN UN PASO POSTERIOR, EL EDC QUE HA SALIDO DEL REACTOR SE DESTILA EN UNA COLUMNA DE DESTILACION DE PRODUCTOS EN QUE EL AGUA DEJA DENTRO EL GASTO GENERAL QUE SE CONDENSA PARA RETIRAR LOS PRODUCTOS CONDENSABLES EN UNA PRIMERA ETAPA Y VENTILAR UN CHORRO DE VENTILACION NO CONDENSABLE. EL CHORRO DE VENTILACION ES CORROSIVO DEBIDO A LA PRESENCIA DE PEQUEÑAS CANTIDADES DE CLORO, HCL Y AGUA, JUNTO CON OXIGENO QUE SE INYECTA EN EL HTCD PARA MEJORAR LA SELECTIVIDAD DE LA REACCION. LOS GASES DE VENTILACION DE LA PRIMERA ETAPA SE REFRIGERAN AUN MAS HASTA QUE ALCANCEN UNA TEMPERATURA DE -30 (GRADOS) C APROXIMADAMENTE A 0 (GRADOS) C APROXIMADAMENTE PARA CONDENSAR LOS PRODUCTOS CONDENSADOR Y CONGELAR EL AGUA SIN OBTURAR LAS LINEAS DE LIQUIDO. LA OBTURACION SE EVITA SIEMPRE Y CUANDO EL CHORRO DE VENTILACION CONTENGA MENOS DE UN 1,5% EN PESO DE AGUA, EN BASE AL PESO DEL CHORRO DE VENTILACION. LOS PRODUCTOS NO CONDENSABLES QUE QUEDAN NO CONTIENEN SUSTANCIALMENTE HUMEDAD Y SON RELATIVAMENTE NO CORROSIVOS Y SE PUEDEN RECICLAR EN UN REACTOR DE OXICLORACION, TAMBIEN PARA LA PRODUCCION DE EDC, SIN SACRIFICAR INDEBIDAMENTE AL COMPRESOR DE VENTILACION NI A CUALQUIER OTRO EQUIPO DE ACERO DE CARBONO DE LA LINEA DE RECLICADO.
