EL PRIMER MIEMBRO DE CIERRE HERMETICO ES DE CARBURO DE SILICIO, FORMADO PREFERIBLEMENTE MEDIANTE UN PROCESO DE SILICIACION DE UNA FORMA CARBONOSA SEMIACABADA. EL SEGUNDO MIEMBRO DE CIERRE HERMETICO ES DE UN MATERIAL, AL MENOS, MODERADAMENTE DURO, CAPAZ DE RECIBIR UN ACABADO EXACTO, Y ESTA CUBIERTO CON UNA FINA CAPA DE MATERIAL MAS DURO -CARBURO DE SILICIO U OTRO CARBURO, UN NITRURO O CARBONO CON UNA ESTRUCTURA DE RED CRISTALOGRAFICA CUBICA- APLICADO POR DEPOSICION FISICA O QUIMICA POR VAPOR.
