EL METODO DESCRITO HACE QUE UN ORGANISMO QUE TIENE UN GENOTIPO MUTANTE DEFICIENTE EN RETENCION DE BIOTINA SE CONVIERTA EN UN ORGANISMO QUE TIENE PRODUCCION ACRECENTADA DE BIOTINA, PARA LO CUAL SE TRANSFORMA EL ORGANISMO CON ADN EXTRACROMOSOMAL QUE SE REPLICA AUTONOMAMENTE Y QUE CODIFICA UN PRODUCTO DE GEN DEL OPERON DE BIOTINA O UN HOMOLOGO FUNCIONAL DEL MISMO. LA OBTENCION DE BIOTINA SE LOGRA CULTIVANDO UN ORGANISMO HOSPEDANTE TRANSFORMADO DE LA MANERA ANTES INDICADA CON ADN EXTRACROMOSOMAL EN UN MEDIO DE CULTIVO QUE CONTIENE FUENTES ASIMILABLES DE MATERIA ORGANICA, PARTICULARMENTE UN MEDIO DE CULTIVO QUE CONTIENE DESTIOBITINA. EL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO ES UTIL PARA PROMOVER EL CRECIMIENTO DE LA LEVADURA DE PANADERO Y COMO ADITIVO PARA ALIMENTOS Y PIENSOS.
