Definitions
- the present invention relates to a load or person handling device.
- the driving stations in at least two parts being two in number, the lower part secured to the chassis of one of said driving stations is arranged along one lateral side of the chassis and the lower part secured to the chassis of the other of said driving stations is arranged along the opposite lateral side of the chassis of the machine, and the upper part of one of said driving stations and the upper part of the other of said driving stations are common and form a single upper part configured to cooperate with one or the other of the lower parts depending on the angular position of the turret.
- the system for detecting the operational configuration of the driving position comprises an inductive sensor and at less than one metal part, the inductive sensor and the metal part equipping indifferently one, the turret, the other, the chassis.
- the machine comprises at least one locking member for the upper part of the or at least one of the driving positions in operational configuration.
- said locking member is formed by a locking finger.
- This locking finger is carried by the lower or respectively upper part of the driving position and is mounted to move between an inactive position and an active position in which it is inserted into a housing provided in the upper or respectively lower part of the driving position.
- the locking finger and associated housing form a tapered fit.
- the locking member forms in cooperation with the associated housing a stop configured to prevent tilting of the upper part of the driving position towards the first or second part of the chassis forming the front of the chassis.
- the machine comprises at least one control for moving said locking member from one position to another.
- This control can be actuated by the operator when the operational configuration of the driving position to be locked is detected.
- the machine comprises, for the or each driving position in at least two parts, at least one presence sensor in said driving position.
- the presence of such a presence sensor makes it possible, for example, to modify the control laws of the machine when the operator is present in the or one of the driving positions in at least two parts. It is thus possible, for example, to increase the maximum travel speed that can be reached by the machine under these conditions.
- the or at least one of the control members of the ground movement drive members of the machine and the or one of the control systems of the handling system are integrated into a control console.
- the machine may indifferently comprise one or more control consoles.
- control console is removably coupleable to at least one of the upper or lower parts of the or at least one of the driving positions in at least two parts and the control system of the handling system of the control console is, in the uncoupled state of the driving position, capable of forming at least the control system of the handling system configured to allow control of said handling system of the machine outside the driving position(s) of the machine.
- This control console can also be used in a nacelle basket of the handling system when the free end of the pivoting arm of the handling system is equipped with such a basket.
- the ground movement drive members of the machine are wheels, at least one of which is coupled to a motor system for rotational drive of said wheel.
- the upper part of the or at least one, preferably each of the driving positions in at least two parts which comprises a backrest also comprises a seat forming a seat.
- this seat forming part of the seat is placed at the base of the backrest.
- At least the backrest is pivotally mounted around a so-called horizontal pivot axis extending transversely to the front/rear direction of the chassis.
- the backrest is pivotally mounted between an upright position in which the operator can sit on the seat and a lying position.
- the pivoting of the backrest prevents access to the driver's seat when the backrest is pivotally moved towards the first or second part of the chassis forming the front of said chassis and corresponding to the lying position of the backrest.
- the device comprises at least one sensor for detecting the position of the backrest.
- the machine control unit is configured to prohibit turret rotation when the backrest is in the upright position and to allow turret rotation when the backrest is in the lying position.
- the invention relates to a machine 1 for handling loads or people.
- This machine 1 comprises a mobile chassis 2 equipped with members 3 for driving the chassis 2 on the ground.
- the members 3 for driving the chassis 2 on the ground are wheels, but could have been equivalently formed by tracks. These wheels may be three or four in number, as in the example shown.
- the chassis 2 is equipped with a motor system 24 for driving at least one of the wheels in rotation.
- the machine 1 may be a two- or four-wheel drive machine and the engine system 24 may be a hydraulic or thermal or electric system, without departing from the scope of the invention.
- This first part and this second part are connected to each other by the two lateral sides 6 or flanks of the chassis 2.
- the free end of the pivoting arm 9, opposite that coupled to the turret 8, can be equipped with a load handling accessory or tool, such as a bucket or a fork, as shown for load handling.
- This free end of the pivoting arm 9 can also be equipped with a cradle for lifting people.
- the machine 1 further comprises at least one driving station 11 carried by the chassis 2 of the machine. Inside the or each driving station carried by the chassis 2 of the machine, an operator is able to take a seat. Each driving station therefore delimits a location for receiving an operator. Thus the nacelle, when it is present, can constitute a driving station of the machine.
- Such a driving position can be carried directly or indirectly by the machine 1.
- the chassis carries the turret 8
- the turret itself carries the arm 9 which itself carries the nacelle and therefore a driving position.
- the machine 1 also comprises at least one control member 15 for the drive members for moving the chassis 2 on the ground.
- This control member 15 such as a pivoting lever also called a joystick, allows the motor system 24 to be controlled which itself allows the wheels to rotate.
- This control member 15 can be positioned in at least one of the driving positions.
- control systems 12 may be in the form of a pivoting lever, possibly equipped with buttons or other control members.
- the actuation of the lever or the control members carried by the lever makes it possible to control the pivoting movement of the arm, the rotational drive of the turret, the extension of the arm when the arm is a telescopic arm and possibly the movement of the accessory or tool carried at the end of the arm.
- control member 15 of the ground movement drive members 3 of the machine and the control system 12 of the handling system 7 are integrated into a control console 121.
- the machine may have a single control console or several control consoles. In the case of a plurality of control consoles, at least some of the control consoles may be permanently installed in the driver's station(s).
- control panel 121 is unique. This control panel 121 can be accessible to the operator from outside the machine as illustrated in Figure 2 where this control panel 121 forms the equivalent of a remote control carried by the operator who is positioned next to the machine.
- control console 121 when such a control console 121 is arranged in a driving position 11 of the machine, it can be installed permanently or removably in said driving position 11.
- Machine 1 may also include control consoles, some of which only integrate the handling system control function. This may be the case when the machine is equipped with a nacelle and this nacelle is equipped with a control console and ground movement control of the machine is not permitted from said nacelle.
- the example shown illustrates the case of a machine comprising a single control console mounted removably in the driving positions.
- the coupling zone of the control console 121 to a driving position is shown at 23 in the figures.
- the or at least one of the driving stations 11 of the machine is in at least two parts and the or each driving station 11 in at least two parts comprises at least one lower part 13 secured to the chassis 2 and arranged along a lateral side 6 of the chassis 2 and an upper part 14 secured in movement to the turret 8.
- this upper part 14 moves in parallel with the rotation of the turret 8.
- the load handling machine 1 may be equipped with a single driving station in at least two parts or with several driving stations 11 in at least two parts as in the example shown in Figures 3 and 4 .
- the driving stations 11 in at least two parts are two in number.
- the lower part secured to the chassis of one of the driving stations is arranged along one lateral side 6 of the chassis 2 and the lower part 13 secured to the chassis 2 of the other of said driving stations is arranged along the opposite lateral side 6 of the chassis 2 of the machine.
- the upper part 14 of one of the driving positions 11 and the upper part 14 of the other of the driving positions are common and form a single upper part 14 configured to cooperate with one or other of the lower parts 13 depending on the angular position of the turret 8.
- the upper part 14 of one of the driving positions 11 is configured for, in a first angular position of the turret 8 in which the pivoting arm 9 extends from its pivoting connection to the turret 8 towards the first part 4 of the chassis 2, cooperating with one of the lower parts 13 to form a first driving position facing the first part 4 of the chassis 2, as illustrated in Figure 3 .
- This upper part 14 is also configured to, in a second angular position of the turret 8 in which the pivoting arm 9 extends from its pivoting connection to the turret 8 towards the second part 5 of the chassis 2, cooperate with the other of the lower parts 13 to form a second driving position facing the second part 5 of the chassis 2, as illustrated in Figure 4 .
- the or each of the driving stations 11 in at least two parts has a so-called operational configuration in which the upper part 14 is arranged above and at least partially vertically above the lower part 13 of said driving station 11. It is in this operational configuration that the operator can take place inside the driving station. In this operational configuration, the upper and lower parts form a cockpit between them.
- the upper part 14 of the driver's station 11 forms the upper part of the cabin.
- This upper part delimits an enclosure surmounted by a roof.
- the interior of the enclosure is accessible through a door or gate provided in said enclosure.
- the roof and a portion of the rear face of the or at least one of the driving positions may be integral in movement and form a protection assembly.
- This assembly may have a first configuration called active protection of the location for receiving an operator in which the roof is in the high position and a second configuration in which the roof is in the low position.
- This assembly is mounted to pivot about an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the chassis corresponding to the front/rear direction of the chassis and is configured to move from the first configuration to the second configuration by pivoting movement towards the first or second part of the chassis forming the front of the chassis.
- the machine may comprise a mechanism for locking said assembly in each of the first and second configurations. This design allows the assembly forming a rollover and falling object protection system to be quickly and easily switched from the first configuration in which the machine can be controlled from the driver's seat to a second configuration in which the machine can be controlled from a location outside the driver's seat(s). Simply pivoting the assembly forward allows such a switch from the first to the second configuration.
- the floor of the lower part of the driver's station extends between the front and rear wheels of the machine arranged along the same lateral side 6 of the machine. This floor forms a platform inside the enclosure, delimited by the upper part.
- This floor may be bordered by at least two walls which prevent the operator sitting on the floor from being able to touch the wheels of the machine.
- the driving position may also include a seat 26 forming a seat.
- This seat 26 is generally arranged at the base of the backrest 17 as illustrated in figures 2 And 7 for example.
- the backrest 17 or the assembly formed by the backrest 17 and the seat 26 is pivotally mounted around a so-called horizontal pivot axis extending transversely to the front/rear direction of the chassis.
- This backrest 17 is thus able to move by pivoting around its pivot axis 27 from an upright position, as illustrated in Figure 7 , in which the operator can sit on the seat 26 and lean back on the backrest 17 in a lying position, as illustrated in figure 8 , in which the seat 26 is no longer accessible and the backrest 17 blocks access to the driving position. In this lying position of the backrest 17, access to the driving position is prevented.
- the device 1 comprises at least one sensor 28 for detecting the position of the backrest 17.
- a sensor 28 shown in Figure 7 prevents rotation of the turret 8 when the backrest 17 is not in the lying position. Thus, any risk of rotation of the turret in the upright position of the backrest 17 is prevented.
- This sensor constitutes a safety device.
- the machine 1 may include a mechanism 29 for locking the backrest 17 in each of its positions.
- the operator can be in a standing position with his feet resting on the floor and his back resting on the backrest, or in a semi-seated position, when the backrest is equipped at its base with a seat 26.
- the control console 121 is preferably configured to equip the upper part 14 of the driving position 11.
- control desk 121 can be installed in a non-removable manner inside the control station.
- control console can be removably coupled to the upper part of the driving station(s) 11, in at least two parts.
- This control console 121 is, in the uncoupled state from the driving station 11, capable of forming at least the control system of the handling system 7 configured to allow control of said handling system 7 of the machine outside of the driving station(s) 11.
- a sensor may be provided to detect the coupling of the control console 121 to the driving position, and its presence inside said driving position.
- the machine can be controlled in movement from the control panel installed in the driver's cab, and the handling system can also be controlled, with the exception of the rotation of the turret which is prohibited.
