Definitions
- the present invention relates to an inflatable luminous body comprising an inflatable gas-tight inner shell, an outer shell that is at least partially translucent and surrounds the inner shell, means for attaching at least one lamp to the lamp in such a way that the lamp emits light into the interior of the lamp and that Light is emitted to the outside as diffuse light via translucent areas of the outer shell, as well as, if necessary, fastening means for holding the luminous element, with a fluorescent tube or a light panel being able to be attached to the inflatable luminous element as the luminous element and with the means for attaching the luminous element being designed in such a way that either bulbs or lights of different shapes and sizes can be attached to the filament.
- An inflatable lamp is known from DE 10 2016 003 852 A1, in which the lamp is a carrier strip with light-emitting diodes, which is pushed into a pocket of the outer shell.
- the illuminant is already integrated into the luminous element.
- the purchaser must therefore use the light source housed in the lamp, in this case a flat LED strip.
- Other light sources in particular those that the user already has in stock or that he can purchase on the market because he considers a specific light source to be suitable for a specific lighting requirement, are therefore out of the question for use in connection with the inflatable light body.
- the object of the invention is to provide an inflatable luminous body with the features of the type mentioned at the outset, which is more versatile and allows a greater degree of freedom with regard to the use of the illuminant, via which the light is radiated into the interior of the luminous body.
- the means for attaching the illuminant to the illuminant comprise one or more strips which overlap the illuminant or the luminaire when it is in the fastened state.
- the invention thus takes a different approach than the prior art mentioned at the outset.
- the illuminant according to the invention can be made available to the user without an illuminant, so that he is not dependent on a specific predetermined illuminant. Rather, after purchase, the user can combine a wide variety of light sources or possibly a light with the inflatable light body.
- the illuminant itself only has the means for attaching a wide variety of illuminants, but does not have to have an illuminant itself.
- a luminous element designed according to the invention can therefore be used in a much more flexible and versatile manner in its application.
- the user is not limited to using the illuminant provided by the manufacturer of the illuminant.
- the purpose of the luminous element according to the invention is to generate diffuse, soft light from the more or less directed light emitted by an illuminant or a lamp, for example linear emission from a fluorescent tube or emission from a lamp in a narrow area.
- an illuminant or a lamp for example linear emission from a fluorescent tube or emission from a lamp in a narrow area.
- There are different areas of application where you need such a diffuse light in particular there are such requirements for the Lighting in the film and photo area.
- high-quality illuminants or lamps are offered here, they are not suitable for most applications for light emission with too high a luminance per unit area.
- the luminous element according to the invention creates the possibility here of converting the light of the luminous means into soft, diffuse light in a relatively simple manner and at a reasonable cost.
- the application of the luminous element according to the invention is not limited to a specific type of luminous element or type of lamp that generates the primary light, but that the luminous element makes no specifications with regard to the luminous element and can therefore be used very flexibly.
- the task of the light body according to the invention is therefore not to be seen in the generation of light, but in the conversion of light into soft, diffuse light.
- the means for attaching the lamp are designed in such a way that they are suitable for attaching either cylindrical or flat plate-shaped lamps or a lamp that is flat on the underside to the lamp body.
- the outer shell is open on its upper side over a significant part of its length and has a longitudinal slit, with the illuminant being able to be inserted either in the region of the longitudinal slit into the outer shell from above or placed on the outer shell above the longitudinal slit and/or can be placed on the outside of the inner shell in the area of the longitudinal slot.
- the lamp is tubular and can be inserted into the outer shell through the slot from above, the light from the lamp is emitted into the interior of the outer shell and then exits the lower translucent area as diffuse light from the outer shell outwards.
- this can be placed on the inflatable lamp in such a way that the light is radiated through the slot into the interior of the outer shell of the lamp.
- the flat light then sits preferably in the Longitudinal slot of the outer shell and it sits with its underside on the inner shell of the illuminant.
- a fluorescent tube in particular an LED fluorescent tube
- an LED fluorescent tube can be used as the illuminant.
- Such generally cylindrical LED fluorescent tubes are available on the market in various designs and have a comparatively high luminous flux and high illuminance and also exist with battery operation. They can contain LEDs of different light colors and a control for the light color and have comparatively low operating temperatures, so that they can easily be arranged in the immediate vicinity of an outer shell of the inflatable luminous body if it consists of textile material with plastic fiber components.
- the means for attaching the illuminant to the illuminant comprise one or more strips which overlap the illuminant or the flat lamp when it is in the fastened state.
- the user of the inflatable light fitting thus places the light fitting or light fitting on top of the light fitting where the slot is located and then places the attachment straps over the light fitting or light fitting to detach it from the light fitting connect to.
- One or more bands are preferably designed as a tensioning device, the tensioning length of which, which spans the illuminant or the flat lamp, is variably adjustable.
- the means for attachment are very variable with regard to the scope of the illuminant to be attached or the light to be attached and their length can be adjusted so that they overlap the illuminant on the one hand and on the other hand attach it firmly to the illuminant by tensioning the straps .
- the user preferably only purchases the inflatable luminous body, which does not have to have any luminous means, and can then attach a commercially available luminous means or a lamp of different size and with specific lighting properties to the luminous body in just a few simple steps exchange at any time for a differently dimensioned and/or shaped illuminant with possibly other desired lighting properties.
- One or more straps in the form of buckle straps, elastic straps, Velcro straps or the like are particularly suitable as the means for attaching the lighting means or the light to the inflatable lighting body. If, for example, Velcro strips are used, these can be a pair of Velcro strips that are firmly attached to the outer shell of the lamp at one end, placed over the lamp or lamp in a stretched state and then at their loose ends with the stretched one State corresponding overlap are adhesively connected to each other by the Velcro material. Buckle straps or straps can also be placed over the illuminant or lamp, tightened and fixed in the tensioned state in a manner known per se. As an alternative to this, individual Velcro strips can preferably be provided in several areas, extending in the transverse direction to the longitudinal slit, which can be attached at both ends by adhering to a corresponding Velcro strip located on the outer shell.
- the lamp body can be held in place even after the lamp or the lamp has been attached in the room, for example by hanging it from a ceiling or attaching it to a wall, using one or more fastening means that are attached to the Luminaires are attached or will be.
- fastening means that are attached to the Luminaires are attached or will be.
- such means for the holder do not have to be present on the luminous body itself.
- the user can acquire an illuminant or a lamp which serves as a light source for the illuminant and on which the fastening means for holding the ensemble are already present. This is often the case because the actual illuminant or the lamp is already equipped with such fasteners.
- fluorescent tubes can have a thread on the end face, into which ring eyelets can be screwed, which serve as holders for the luminous body. Or you can slide clamps over a fluorescent tube, to name just two examples.
- the outer cover consists of two interconnected areas each made of a textile material, the area forming the cover top being dark on the outside and reflective on the inside, while the area forming the cover bottom being translucent.
- the dark upper area of the outer shell does not allow any light to penetrate to the outside, but the outer shell is also reflective on the inside in the upper area, so that the light radiated into the interior of the outer shell by the illuminant is reflected there into the lower inner area of the outer shell and is thus reinforced, so that an increased light emission results over the underside translucent area of the luminous body.
- FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an exemplary luminous element according to an embodiment of the present invention
- FIG. 2 shows a schematically simplified side view of an exemplary luminous body according to the present invention
- FIG. 3 shows a plan view of a luminous element according to the invention according to FIG. 2;
- FIG. 4 shows a cross section through a luminous body according to the invention with a luminous tube fastened to it as the luminous means;
- FIG. 5 shows a cross section through a luminous body according to the invention with a flat LED panel fastened to it as a light.
- FIG. 1 shows the luminous element 10 according to the invention in the inflated state, in which it assumes, for example, an elongate cylindrical basic shape.
- the luminous body 10 comprises an upper area in the installed state of use with an opaque area 11 of the outer shell and a lower area 12 in which the outer shell is translucent, so that in this area diffuse light can be emitted downwards into a spatial area to be illuminated.
- a valve 15 is arranged, for example, on the end face of the cylindrical luminous body 10 for filling with air.
- the outer shell consisting of the two mentioned areas 11 and 12 surrounds the inflatable inner shell almost completely except for an upper area when in use, in which there is a longitudinal slit 13, which can extend over the entire length of the outer shell, so that the outer shell can be inserted into Area of this longitudinal slot 13 is open and in this area an adjustment in diameter is possible, whereby differently sized bulbs or lights can be included in the upper part of the outer shell, which will be explained in more detail below.
- straps 14, for example Velcro straps or the like are provided on both sides of the outer shell in the region of the longitudinal slot 13. These strips 14, which span the longitudinal slot from both sides, can be fastened to the outer shell 11 or to one another, for example, in a tensioned position that corresponds to a predetermined width of the longitudinal slot 13, and in this way the illuminant can be attached to the luminous body 10. In the fastening position, the strips 14 are then stretched over the illuminant and fixed to the outer shell or to one another.
- the outer shell can have strips of Velcro (e.g. Velcro) to which the strips 14 (e.g.
- Velcro are attached.
- the Velcro strips can extend on the outer shell, for example, in the longitudinal direction and the straps 14 then extend in the transverse direction to this longitudinal direction, with several straps 14 (Velcro straps) being provided at a distance from one another as a rule.
- the light emitted by the illuminant is radiated into the interior of the luminous body 10 so that it can be emitted diffusely into the environment via the lower translucent area 12 of the outer shell.
- the upper, opaque area 11 of the outer shell can be made reflective on the inside, so that the light is reflected inside the lamp in Direction is directed to the translucent area 12 and thereby the light yield of the light emitted in the translucent area 12 is increased.
- the inside of the outer shell can be coated with a reflective material in the opaque area 11 .
- FIG. 2 shows a side view of a luminous body 10 and the top view of the luminous body 10 is shown in FIG.
- the upper longitudinal slot 13 which extends, for example, over a fraction of the circumference of the cylindrical outer shell of the lamp 10 and which also extends approximately centrally over most of the length of the lamp in the upper area, with the upper longitudinal slot 13 in each case with some distance before the front end of the cylindrical luminous element 10 can end.
- FIG. 3 also shows the bands 14 which emanate from the outer shell from both sides of the longitudinal slot 13, span the longitudinal slot and can be connected in a suitable form either to the outer shell or to one another on both sides.
- the slit width of the longitudinal slit can be variably changed by these tensionable strips 14 , so that lamps of different sizes can be arranged in the region of the longitudinal slit 13 and fastened to the luminous body 10 by means of the strips 14 .
- FIG. 4 shows a variant in which a cylindrical LED luminous tube 16 is attached to the luminous body 10 in the area of the longitudinal slot 13 .
- FIG. 4 shows the luminous element 10 in cross section and it can be seen that an inner shell 17 is accommodated in the outer shell 11, 12, which consists of an inflatable plastic and is inflated in the view according to FIG. In this state, the inner shell 17 lies against the inside of the outer shell.
- the upper area 11 of the outer shell is opaque, while the lower area 12 of the outer shell is translucent and light can therefore be emitted to the outside.
- the upper portion 11 of the outer shell extends in the example about the The upper half of the circumference and the lower area 12 of the outer shell extends approximately over the lower half of the circumference, and these ratios can be varied within wide ranges depending on the requirements.
- only one Velcro strip can be provided at each fastening point, which is connected at both of its end regions to a Velcro strip that extends on the outer shell on both sides of the longitudinal slot 13, so that here, too, it depends on the fastening position of the Velcro strip extending in the transverse direction the slot width is variably adjustable.
- FIG. 5 shows a further cross section through a luminous element 10 according to the invention according to a further variant in which an LED panel 18 which is flat on the underside is attached to the luminous element 10 instead of an LED tube.
- the LED panel 18 is not only shaped differently in cross section than the cylindrical LED light tube 16, but it is also wider than the latter. Because the inflated inner shell 17 is deformable, it conforms to the shape of the flat underside of the LED panel 18 . In contrast to the variant previously described with reference to FIG. 4, this can be a complete lamp with all the typical functions, ie not just a light source.
- the light emitted by the LED panel on the underside is radiated downwards through the outer shell, which is translucent in the upper area 12 , into its interior.
- the inner shell 17 should of course also consist of a transparent material. In the variant according to FIG. 5, the light is then emitted diffusely to the outside via the lower translucent area 12 of the outer shell.
- the use of the luminous body 10 according to the invention ensures that the light originally exiting flatly downwards from the LED panel is converted into a softer, diffuse light, which is emitted by the luminous body 10 in accordance with the shape of the translucent area 12 of the outer shell, for example radiated in a semicircle.
- This softer, diffuse light is required in particular for lighting applications in the photo and film sectors.
