Definitions
- One aspect of the invention relates to a cooking appliance with a housing.
- a cooking chamber of the cooking appliance is formed in the housing. Food can be prepared in the cooking compartment.
- the cooking appliance also has a door for closing the cooking chamber.
- the door is designed as a folding door.
- the folding door has a first door segment and a second door segment that is separate therefrom.
- the door segments are plate-like parts. In an unfolded state, they form an overall panel in one plane that closes the cooking space.
- the at least two door segments are pivotally connected directly to one another with a first hinge device.
- the first door segment is connected to a second hinge device of the cooking appliance with a guide device of the cooking appliance, which is arranged on the housing.
- the second door segment is connected to the housing at a lower door segment end with a third hinge device of the cooking appliance.
- Cooking appliances are known in a variety of exemplary embodiments with regard to their configuration with doors.
- panel-like doors are known, with this door panel being designed as a body which can be pivoted about a horizontal and a vertical axis.
- retractable doors are also known.
- a storage space is formed under the cooking chamber, into which this door can be pivoted.
- the base body with its plate-like configuration is designed as one body. The plate in question cannot be deformed in itself in these exemplary embodiments either.
- US 2019383496 discloses a cooking appliance which has a folding door with at least two door segments which can be pivoted relative to one another.
- a disadvantage of this prior art is that the pivot axes of the hinge devices are positioned in one plane. This results in disadvantages, particularly in the closed state of this folding door. In particular, it can move slightly away from the housing on its own and carry out a minimal folding movement. This causes leaks in the closed Open the door. The handling of the door to open and close is also disadvantageous in this regard, as it requires more effort for a user.
- the at least two door segments are directly pivotally connected to one another with at least one first hinge device.
- the first door segment is connected at one, in particular upper, door segment end to at least one second hinge device of the cooking appliance with a guide device of the cooking appliance, which is arranged on the housing.
- the second door segment is connected to the housing with one, in particular lower, door segment end with at least one third hinge device of the cooking appliance.
- a pivot axis of the first hinge device In the closed state of the folding door, a pivot axis of the first hinge device is arranged closer to the cooking chamber than a pivot axis of the second hinge device, viewed in the depth direction of the cooking appliance. Furthermore, when the folding door is in the closed state, a pivot axis of the first hinge device is arranged closer to the cooking chamber than a pivot axis of the third hinge device, viewed in the depth direction of the cooking appliance.
- Such a configuration means that the pivot axes of the at least three hinge devices are offset from one another.
- the central hinge device with its pivot axis in the context closer to Positioned towards the cooking space than the other two pivot axes of the other two hinge devices.
- the pivot axes are oriented in the width direction and thus horizontally.
- the pivot axes are vertical and thus oriented in the vertical direction.
- the central pivot axis in the width direction of the three pivot axes in particular is closer to the cooking chamber than the other two in the depth direction.
- the three hinge devices are arranged in such a way that the door segments are arranged at an inner angle greater than 0° to one another in the folded end position or in the folded state.
- this interior angle is between 1° and 10°.
- this positioning also means that sides of the door segments facing one another do not lie directly on top of one another, in particular not directly over their entire surface. In this way, on the one hand, contamination or undesired rubbing and scratching of the components can be avoided, and on the other hand, ventilation of this area between the two door segments can also be achieved in the folded end position and thus in the fully open position of the folding door.
- the guide device is oriented vertically.
- it has guide rails on opposite side areas of the housing, in particular on a front area of the housing.
- the guide device is designed in such a way that the first door segment of the folding door is guided by the guide device over its entire folding path.
- the guide device in particular the guide rails, is oriented horizontally.
- the first door segment is designed with a pane pack.
- This pane pack basically forms the base body of the door segment, which in turn results in the plate shape of the door segment through the pane pack.
- This pane package has at least two separate door panes.
- the second door segment has a pane package with at least two door panes.
- this set of panes forms the base body of the second door segment and thus the basic panel shape of the second door segment.
- the two door panes are separate panes. They are arranged at a distance from one another in the depth direction, so that an air space or an intermediate space is also formed here between the door panes.
- the pivot axis of the first hinge device is arranged closer to the cooking chamber than the inner panes of the two pane packs that are closest to the cooking chamber. This specific pivot axis of the first hinge device is therefore positioned further towards the cooking space than the two disk packs.
- This configuration does not require any more complex shaping for the inner panes, in particular more complex leadthroughs and/or cutouts.
- the positioning of this first hinge device also makes it possible to achieve more flexibility and variability in guiding the movement, and continuous folding and unfolding is made possible.
- the door panes are in particular made of glass.
- the first door segment has a set of panes with at least two door panes
- the second door segment has a set of panes with at least two door panes.
- a seal is preferably arranged between the inner panes of the pane packs that are closer to the cooking chamber than the other door panes of the pane packs.
- this seal is a hollow chamber seal.
- the seal is a welt seal. This separation point or the interface between the door panes or the mutually facing edges of these inner panes is therefore preferably sealed. In particular, this seal is achieved both in the closed end position of the folding door and in the open end position of the folding door.
- this interface between the facing edges of the inner pane is also sealed over the entire folding path.
- Undesirable heating of the outer door panes of the pane packs is at least significantly reduced.
- such a sealing of this specific interface also means that no dirt from the cooking chamber can get into the spaces between the door panes of the pane pack.
- the first door segment has a pane pack with at least two door panes.
- the second door segment has a pane package with at least two door panes.
- a distance measured in the depth direction of the cooking appliance between two door panes of the first set of panes and/or a distance between corresponding door panes of the second set of panes is many times greater than a gap measured in the height direction of the cooking appliance between a lower edge of a Door pane of the upper pane pack of the first, upper door segment and an upper edge of a corresponding door pane of the lower pane pack of the second, lower door segment.
- the first door segment has a pane pack with at least two door panes.
- the second door segment has a pane package with at least two door panes.
- a gap between a front pane of the first set of panes and a front pane of the second set of panes is arranged further down, viewed in the vertical direction of the cooking appliance, than a gap between a further door pane of the first set of panes and a corresponding further door pane of the second set of panes .
- this offset particularly in the height direction, formed in the gaps of door panes of the various panes, which are assigned to one another in pairs and arranged in the same plane, when the folding door is arranged in the closed state, allows the folding door to protrude forwards, particularly in the fully open end position of the folding door Front window of the first, upper window package.
- This also achieves a certain level of protection for a user, so that the inner pane in particular of the pane pack of the second, lower door segment cannot be touched undesirably is avoided.
- This overhang of the front pane of the door segment which is also the upper one in the folded state, also forms a certain overhang of the roof in order to be able to touch the door panes of the second pane package with difficulty, if at all.
- the folding door has a movement support device.
- a folding force can be generated with this movement support device, so that the folding process and/or the unfolding process is supported. This reduces the effort required for a user who moves the folding door manually.
- the movement support device has at least one spring, with which at least the unfolding process for closing the folding door is supported by spring force as the folding force.
- the cooking appliance has a motor or a drive unit, with which the folding process and the associated opening and/or closing movement of the folding door are at least partially motor-driven. This minimizes user handling. It may only be necessary to activate the motor. This can be the case, for example, by actuating an operating element of the device.
- the cooking appliance has a holding unit.
- the unfolded, closed end position of the folding door is held with this holding unit.
- the folded, open end position of the folding door can be held by a holding unit of the cooking appliance.
- the holding unit can have a snap connection and/or a magnetic holder. Other holding options are also conceivable. This means that in the respective end positions of the folding door it can be released by a user without the respective end position being left again independently. Even if the
- Movement support device is present, it is made possible by the holding unit, in particular to fix the open, folded end position. In particular, only when the holding unit is released, through the
- Movement support device of the unfolding process are at least supported.
- the second hinge device is connected to the guide device with a non-destructively releasable connection. This also makes it possible for the second hinge device to be detached from the guide device. Accessibility to the inside of the folding door can thus be improved. This is very advantageous in particular for cleaning purposes or for maintenance work or assembly purposes.
- this non-destructively releasable connection is easy to handle and correspondingly robust.
- this connection may include a bolt that is held biased by a spring. By pressing against the spring force, the bolt can be released non-destructively from its connection position with the guide device for decoupling the second hinge device from the guide device. This enables a simple detachability and coupling that can be carried out again.
- this bolt also represents the guide element at the same time, which is guided in the guide device, in particular a guide groove of a guide rail of the guide device.
- an interior angle between the upper, first door segment and the vertical is greater than 90°. This allows full accessibility to the cooking chamber in this folded, open end position.
- the folding door is not in the way because it is pivoted forwards and downwards.
- a storage space for the cooking appliance is formed in the housing below the cooking space.
- this storage space is separate from the cooking space.
- the storage space is not a cooking space. He is not trained to bring in and prepare food. It can be designed to hold accessories. For example, for storing baking trays or wire racks or other food supports.
- this storage space can also be designed as a warming compartment. In such an embodiment, food that has already been prepared in the cooking chamber, for example, can then be kept warm in the warming chamber.
- the cooking appliance has a pivoting door that is separate from the folding door. This The pivoting door is designed to close the storage space or warming space at the front.
- a push-push mechanism is provided here in order to enable this pivoting door to be opened and closed.
- top”, bottom”, “front”, “back”, “horizontal”, “vertical”, “depth direction”, “width direction”, “height direction” etc. are the positions specified for the intended use and intended arrangement of the device and directions given.
