Definitions
- the invention relates to a charging gate system for a pyrometallurgical plant, for example for a steelworks plant with at least one metallurgical vessel with an enclosure which has a charging opening and with at least one charging platform.
- Exemplary loading gate systems from Konverter Stahlwerken have, among other things, the task of protecting the environment and personnel from heat, smoke gases, slag and steel splashes.
- Loading gates are known in the prior art, which are supported and movable on a rail system of a loading platform or on a structure on the edge of the stage near the converter.
- stage edge setup reduces the space available for servicing the converter.
- a structure also interferes with loading the pig iron ladle into the converter, as its lower edge is often close to the surface of the stage when the ladle is guided to the converter hanging on a crane.
- the method of loading gates on a rail system has the disadvantage that the rail system in the vicinity of the converter is susceptible to contamination and represents a source of danger or a tripping hazard.
- the invention is based on the object of providing a loading gate system that requires little maintenance and is less prone to failure than the known systems.
- One aspect of the invention relates to a loading gate system for a pyrometallurgical plant with at least one metallurgical vessel in an enclosure, at least one loading platform with which a loading opening and/or an emptying opening in the enclosure can be closed, the loading gate system comprising at least one loading gate leaf , which is supported hanging on a carrier and which can be moved on the carrier, the carrier being held by a frame arranged stationary on the loading platform.
- the pyrometallurgical plant can be designed, for example, as a steelworks plant.
- the knowledgeable reader will recognize that the configuration of the
- the pyrometallurgical vessel can be, for example, a converter.
- the frame can be designed in such a way that the support of the carrier on the loading platform is outside the loading area, i.e. H. is arranged outside the loading opening and/or the emptying opening.
- a loading gate which can, for example, have dimensions of 10 ⁇ 5 m and a relatively high weight of up to 20 t, can be safely supported on the loading platform.
- the suspension on the support makes it possible to move the guidance of the loading gate leaf to an area that is less susceptible to contamination.
- the construction according to the invention has the advantage that the loading platform in the area of the loading opening can be designed without rails and without other structures.
- the solution according to the invention has the advantage that fewer disruptions occur during the operation of the loading gates. Significantly less and simpler cleaning work is required on the loading platform.
- the rails and wheels of the loading gate system have a longer service life.
- On the loading gate platform in the middle area of the enclosure there is more space for maintenance work on the vessel or inside the enclosure, for example to replace the heat protection provided there.
- safety for the personnel of the steelworks plant is improved, in particular because the loading gate system can be operated more reliably, so that the vessel does not operate with the gates open.
- the loading gate system expediently comprises two loading gate leaves, which are preferably designed to close against one another in one plane.
- the loading gate wings can be suspended in such a way that they are suspended at a lower distance from the loading platform, so that a larger gap remains below the loading gate wings between them and the loading platform, thereby ensuring that any slag accumulations on the loading platform do not impair the accessibility of the loading gate wings .
- the loading gate system comprises a gate apron which closes a larger gap between the loading gate leaves and the loading platform.
- This essentially three-part design of the loading gate system has the advantage that the loading gate leaves can be somewhat smaller and lighter, so that the suspension of the loading gate leaves has to accommodate smaller loads.
- the gate apron can be designed so that it can be removed if necessary, so that the loading opening can be enlarged if necessary.
- the suspension of the loading gate leaves is further relieved if the loading gate leaves are slidably guided on the gate apron.
- the gate apron forms a sliding guide and lower support for the loading gate leaves.
- the gate apron can, for example, be suspended in fork-shaped receptacles on the frame using pins.
- the gate apron can be designed so that it can be moved into the installation position using a crane or similar lifting equipment.
- the gate apron can be designed and arranged in such a way that it can be placed on the loading platform.
- the gate apron can have at least one opening for taking samples or inspecting the interior of the converter housing.
- the carrier has a profile which forms at least one lane for at least one support wheel of at least one loading gate leaf.
- the loading gate system can have at least one travel drive, which includes at least one driven support wheel.
- the lane expediently forms a guide for the at least one support wheel.
- the at least one loading gate leaf has at least one upper and one lower support wheel, which are arranged at a distance from one another in the direction of travel on opposite sides of the center of mass of the loading gate leaf, so that the carrier advantageously provides a torque support for the relevant loading gate wing.
- At least one support wheel can include at least one wheel flange, which interacts with a guide profile of the lane.
- one or more upper support wheels each have two wheel flanges, which interact with a rectangular guide profile of the lane arranged on top of the carrier.
- the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures illustrates a loading gate system 1 at a converter steelworks.
- the loading gate system 1 is part of the steelworks system, not shown, which has at least one converter, an enclosure for the converter and a loading opening 2, which is either released or closed by the loading gate system 1.
- the loading gate system 1 comprises two frames 3, which are arranged on a loading platform 4 on both sides of the loading opening 2 of the housing, not shown.
- the loading gate system 1 further comprises two loading gate leaves 5, each of which is supported hanging on a support 6 of a frame 3.
- the frames 3 are set up at a distance from one another in an opening and closing plane of the loading gate system 1 so that they are arranged on both sides of the loading opening 2 so that the loading opening 2 is not is covered. In this opening and shooting level, the frames 3 are aligned so that the supports 6 are arranged in alignment with one another.
- Each of the carriers 6 is designed as a so-called travel carrier, that is, each carrier 6 includes on its upper end face a lane 7 for a support wheel 9 of a loading gate leaf 5.
- FIG 4 shows the frames 3, which are arranged opposite one another in the opening and closing plane and are spaced apart, without the loading gate leaves 5 suspended on them.
- the frames 3 each include vertical supports 11 which accommodate the carrier 6, which is located in the opening and closing plane of the loading gate system 1 (in the X axis).
- the supports 11 each form a three-point support, with two supports 11 being provided on each frame 3 on the side facing the loading opening 2, whereas only one support 11 is provided on the side facing away from the loading opening 2 in the opening and closing plane.
- each frame 3 is provided with a horizontal support 8, which counteracts any forces that may occur in the Z-axis.
- the loading gate leaves 5 each include four support wheels 9, namely two upper support wheels 9 and two lower support wheels 9. One of the upper support wheels 9 is driven.
- the associated travel drive is provided with the reference number 10.
- the upper support wheels 9 are each provided with two wheel flanges, which interact with a profile strip of the lane 7 on the top of the carrier 6.
- the lower support wheels 9 rest against the underside of the carrier 6 and absorb any tilting moment of the loading gate leaves 5 that may occur.
- An upper support wheel 9 and a lower support wheel 9 are expediently arranged on both sides at a distance from a center of mass of a loading gate leaf 5 in such a way that they reliably counteract a tilting moment of the relevant loading gate leaf 5.
- the travel path of the loading gate leaves 5 is expediently by means of limit switches and/or stops.
- the loading gate system 1 shown also includes two loading gate leaves 5 and also a gate apron 12, which covers a gap between the loading gate leaves 5 and the loading platform 4 and forms a lower guide for the loading gate leaves 5.
- the loading gate wings could be supported on an upper end face of the gate apron 12.
- the upper end face of the gate apron 12 is expediently designed as a sliding guide for the loading gate leaves 5.
- Figure 5 shows the opened loading gate system 1 according to the second exemplary embodiment of the invention.
- the loading opening 2 is limited downwards to the loading platform 4 by the gate apron 12.
- the goal apron 12 is like the detailed view in Figure 6 can be seen, each provided on its sides with upper and lower pins 13, which are suspended in fork-shaped receptacles 14 of the frames 3.
- the gate apron 12 is inserted into the in. using a crane Figure 5 installed position shown.
- the loading gate wings 5 are each provided on their underside with a protective lip 15 which extends over the gate apron and forms the lower end of a gap between the loading gate wings 5 and the gate apron 12.
- An unspecified opening for sampling or maintenance is expediently provided in the gate apron 12, with the gate apron forming heat protection for the workers on the loading platform 4.
