L'invention concerne un procédé de contrôle permettant de déterminer le potentiel de risque d'une réaction alcali-silice dans des matériaux de construction minéraux comme le béton par exemple. Elle se caractérise par les étapes suivantes : a) analyse (220) d'un échantillon (12) par spectroscopie Raman pour la caractérisation (230) structurelle de l'échantillon (12), b) comparaison (240) des résultats de l'analyse avec des valeurs (250) stockées dans une base de données, et c) utilisation (260) des résultats de la comparaison (240) pour déterminer (270) un potentiel de risque pour le béton pour une réaction alcali-silice.
