Definitions
- the invention relates to an elevator car for an elevator according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Elevators contain elevator cars which can be moved up and down in an elevator shaft by means of a drive unit via suspension means, for example in the form of suspension ropes or suspension belts. For certain situations, such as maintenance work or inspections, it is necessary for people to be on the cab roof. If the width of a gap between the car and the adjacent shaft wall is too large, balustrades must be installed on the car roof for fall protection.
- balustrades on the roof of elevator cars have been known and used for a long time.
- EP 1 764 336 A2 and JP 3 375455 B2 balustrades have become known.
- the balustrades comprise vertical posts and horizontal spars connecting the posts.
- the rails can have at least one handrail, which forms the top rail.
- Center rails, i.e. rails about halfway up the balustrade, are also often used.
- the ASME A17.1-2000 standard for the USA or the European standard EN81-20:2014 contain instructions with detailed specifications for the design and dimensioning of the canopy and the necessary balustrade.
- the known balustrades are comparatively heavy and expensive. Another disadvantage is that mounting the balustrade on the cabin roof can be expensive.
- the elevator car has a balustrade arranged on a roof of the elevator car with posts attached to a horizontal roof top of the roof and spars connecting the posts.
- the balustrade generally has at least one handrail on each side of the cabin where fall protection is required. This handrail forms a top rail. You can continue below the Handrails be provided more bars such as a central spar.
- a docking element is arranged on the roof top of the cabin roof, to which the post is docked or can be docked.
- the docking element has at least one form-fitting element for receiving the post in a form-fitting manner and the post has at least one post-form-fitting element that is complementary to the aforementioned form-fitting element.
- the docking element can be pre-assembled on the cabin roof.

- the post has at least one and preferably at least two open slots at the end.
- the docking element has a complementary finger which engages in the slot or which can be brought into engagement with the slot.
- the docking element has fingers complementary to the respective slots which engage or are engageable with the respective slots.
- the fingers form the above-mentioned interlocking elements associated with the docking element and the slots form the post interlocking elements.
- the fingers or the slots can be cuts in metallic structures to create the post or the docking element. Such cuts can be made easily and precisely in metallic structures, for example by means of metal-cutting processes.
- the post has at least one and preferably at least two recesses as post form-fitting elements.
- the docking element has a complementary finger for the at least one recess, which engages in the recess or which can be brought into engagement with the recess. If the post has a plurality of recesses, the docking element has fingers which are complementary to the respective recesses and which engage in the respective recesses or which can be brought into engagement with the respective recesses.
- the present variant is distinguished from the above-mentioned variant with the slots, which is characterized by being particularly easy to assemble with the recesses through a particularly stable and reliable positive connection.
- the posts can be attached or attached to the docking elements. In this way, a simple and quickly achieved plug-in connection is created.
- the docking elements can preferably already be preassembled on the cabin roof before the posts are attached.

- the elevator car 1 shows a designated 1 elevator car for an elevator in a building.
- the elevator car 1 which can be moved vertically up and down, is used to transport people or goods. The movement of the car 1 takes place, for example, via suspension means (not shown), which carry the elevator car 1, for example, in the form of an undersling.
- a drive unit (not shown) is positioned in the area of the shaft head to move the car.
- the elevator car 1 could of course also be used for elevator systems with machine rooms.
- the elevator car 1 has a car body with a floor (not shown), side walls 3, a rear 4, one or two elevator doors (also not shown) and a roof 2.
- a balustrade 5 is arranged on the roof 2 of the elevator car 1 a fall protection with respect to three sides of the elevator car 1 forms. In the area of a front in which the cabin 1 with a Equipped with a car door, there is no need for a fence due to the small gap between the car and the shaft wall.
- the balustrade 5 comprises a total of four vertical posts 7, 8. Two posts each are connected to one another with two spars 9, 10, with a top spar being a handrail 9 and a middle spar 10 being arranged as the second spar at approximately mid-height.
- the posts 7, 8 are positively connected to the docking elements 15 fastened to the top of the roof. This positive connection represents a special aspect of the invention and is described in detail below (see in particular the following Figures 2A, 2B ).
- the balustrade 5 also has four sloping support profiles 12, 13, which secure the balustrade and ensure adequate stability.
- Roof profiles 11 are arranged on the roof edge 23 .
- a support plate 27 is fastened at the top, which projects beyond the roof edge 23 and which is fixed both to the respective side wall 3 and to the roof profile 11 .
- a sliding guide shoe 28 for guiding the elevator car is attached to the carrier plate 27 .
- a roller guide shoe would of course also be conceivable.
- further elevator components can also be attached to the carrier plate 27 .
- the roof profile 11 is positioned directly on the roof edge and has a side wall section 24 which is flush with the cabin side wall 3 .
- a docking element 15 is arranged for each post 7 , 8 on the horizontal top side 6 of the roof.
- the docking element 15 has form-fitting elements for receiving the post 8 in a form-fitting manner. These form-fitting elements are in Figure 2A recognizable.
- the form-fitting elements are formed by fingers 16.
- the docking element 15 is rectangular in top view and has three fingers 16 on each of two sides of the rectangle.
- the counterpart to the fingers are slots 17 which are arranged on the end of the post 8 .
- the respective post 7.8 is designed as an L-profile, as can be seen. Three slots 17 are assigned to each leg of the "L".
- the slots form complementary post interlocking elements to the fingers 16 .
- the slots 17 and the fingers 16 are dimensioned and coordinated in such a way that that there is a small clearance fit during assembly. Because of the small amount of play, it may be necessary when docking the post, where the post is moved vertically downwards, to additionally hammer the post in, so that thanks to the additional frictional connection, a particularly reliable and strong connection between posts is achieved and cabin roof is created. According to the invention, this type of connection corresponds to a plug connection. In other words, the posts 7, 8 can be plugged onto the docking elements 15 or inserted into the docking elements 15 after the docking process has ended.
- the slots 17 can be created simply by making cuts in the structure for the post 8.
- the docking element is a flattened component made up of two plates 18, 19 with a rectangular basic shape.
- the plates 18, 19 are seen to be stacked one on top of the other, resulting in a flattened, layered component. If an L-profile with two identical legs is used for the post 7, 8, the docking element 15 has an approximately square outline when viewed from above.
- the upper plate 18 is provided with the fingers 16, which is why it is also referred to below as a docking plate.
- the bottom plate 19 is a spacer plate for spacing the fingers 16 from the roof top.
- the fingers 16 are raised from the roof top so that the fingers 16 are exposed and docking can be assured in a reliable manner.
- the docking element 15 is fastened to the cabin roof 2 via a screw connection. A corresponding screw of the screw connection can be seen in this figure and is denoted by 22 .
- the respective form-fitting sections of the docking plate 18 define an "L" when viewed from above. Thanks to the innovative connection method, in which posts are docked in a form-fitting manner in docking elements, sheet metal profiles of different thicknesses can also be attached to the cabin roof without welding or other additional fasteners such as bolts, screw connections or adhesive processes.
- the fingers 16 of the docking element 15 are formed by a projection extending in the horizontal direction.
- the respective finger 16 is rectangular in plan view.
- Figure 2B shows the completed post 8 after completion of the docking process.
- Figure 2B corresponds to an enlarged representation of detail A 1 for the post in the corner area between the side wall 3 and the back 4.
- This post, designated 8, is consequently a rear post of the balustrade 5.
- the front post 7 and the associated docking elements on which the post 7 is docked are of the same design.
- the docking element 15 thus has form-fitting elements in the form of fingers 16 for receiving the post 7, 8 in a form-fitting manner; the post 7 , 8 has slots 17 complementary to the fingers 16 as post form-fitting elements which engage in the slots 17 .
- This enables the post 7, 8 to be easily docked to the docking element 15 assigned to the top of the cabin, as a result of which the post 7, 8 can be mounted on the cabin roof 2 quickly and in a few steps.
- balustrade 5 is in 3 shown. From this it is easy to see that the bars 9, 10 are each designed as C-profiles. Of course, other profile shapes such as closed box profiles would also be conceivable.
- the support profiles 13 are also formed by C-profiles.
- the canopy 2 may comprise a steel sheet forming the horizontal roof top.
- surface elements in a sandwich construction for the cabin roof could be formed by a sandwich element with a PO foam.
- roofs 2 with such surface elements in a sandwich construction it may be necessary to use a sufficiently thick metal base plate on the top of the roof to accommodate a docking element 15; such a base plate is in 3 recognizable and marked with 20.
- the support profile 12 is connected to the roof profile 11 by means of a T-shaped connecting element 14 .
- the connecting element 14 is designed as a bent part made of metal, as a result of which the connecting element can be produced simply and inexpensively and can be adapted to different circumstances and cabin configurations depending on the inclination of the support profile.
- the fixation of the connecting element to the respective components is preferably carried out by means of screw connections, which are not shown here for the sake of simplicity. Are recognizable in 4 on the other hand, boreholes through which screws can be passed.
- the type of connection explained here using the T-shaped connecting element 14 is also used for the upper anchorage points.
- the rear support profiles 13 are connected directly to the posts 8 by means of similar T-shaped connecting elements.
- the respective T-shaped connecting elements are screwed to the handrail 9 in the front area.
- the roof profile 11 has a bottom section 25 and a short side wall section 26 .
- the connecting element 14 rests flat on the side wall section 26 and is connected to the roof profile 11 by means of screws (not shown) in the area of the side wall section 26 .
- the inclined support profiles 12 and 13 conduct horizontal forces acting on the handrail 9 in the width of the cabin into the cabin roof 2. This allows no or only small bending moments to act on the respective posts 7, 8.
- the oblique support profiles 12, 13 are each in vertical planes running at right angles to the associated handrail 9. Thanks to the support elements 12, 13, comparatively light and thin structures can be created for the positive connection between the post and the docking element. If the support profiles 12, 13 were to be dispensed with, the connection in question would have to be designed to be stronger and, accordingly, significantly more material would have to be used for this purpose.
- FIG. 5A, 5b Such an alternative variant of a positive connection between post 8 and docking element 15 is in Figures 5A, 5b shown.
- the post 8 includes cutouts 29 at the end. Each leg of the "L" of the profile for the post 8 is assigned three rectangular cutouts 29 in each case.
- the recesses 29 are adapted to the fingers 16 of the docking element 15 in terms of position and dimensioning. For simple assembly, it can be advantageous if the width of the recesses 29 is selected to be sufficiently large compared to the finger widths. The width is the dimension of the recess 29 with respect to the horizontal.
- the recess 29 may be 6mm wide.

Description
The invention relates to an elevator car for an elevator according to the preamble of claim 1.
Elevators contain elevator cars which can be moved up and down in an elevator shaft by means of a drive unit via suspension means, for example in the form of suspension ropes or suspension belts. For certain situations, such as maintenance work or inspections, it is necessary for people to be on the cab roof. If the width of a gap between the car and the adjacent shaft wall is too large, balustrades must be installed on the car roof for fall protection.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to avoid the disadvantages of the known and in particular to provide an improved elevator car with a balustrade.
According to the invention, this object is achieved with an elevator car having the features of claim 1 . The elevator car has a balustrade arranged on a roof of the elevator car with posts attached to a horizontal roof top of the roof and spars connecting the posts. The balustrade generally has at least one handrail on each side of the cabin where fall protection is required. This handrail forms a top rail. You can continue below the Handrails be provided more bars such as a central spar. For each post, a docking element is arranged on the roof top of the cabin roof, to which the post is docked or can be docked. In this case, the docking element has at least one form-fitting element for receiving the post in a form-fitting manner and the post has at least one post-form-fitting element that is complementary to the aforementioned form-fitting element. The docking element can be pre-assembled on the cabin roof. The docking elements already placed on the cabin roof ensure that the posts are in the correct position in an efficient manner. The docking element and the form-fitting elements enable the balustrade to be installed quickly and easily in just a few work steps. When docking the post on the associated docking element, a form-fitting connection is created between the post and the canopy in the area of the docking element.
The post has at least one and preferably at least two open slots at the end. For at least one slot, the docking element has a complementary finger which engages in the slot or which can be brought into engagement with the slot. When the post has a plurality of slots, the docking element has fingers complementary to the respective slots which engage or are engageable with the respective slots. The fingers form the above-mentioned interlocking elements associated with the docking element and the slots form the post interlocking elements. The fingers or the slots can be cuts in metallic structures to create the post or the docking element. Such cuts can be made easily and precisely in metallic structures, for example by means of metal-cutting processes.
In an alternative variant, the post has at least one and preferably at least two recesses as post form-fitting elements. The docking element has a complementary finger for the at least one recess, which engages in the recess or which can be brought into engagement with the recess. If the post has a plurality of recesses, the docking element has fingers which are complementary to the respective recesses and which engage in the respective recesses or which can be brought into engagement with the respective recesses. The present variant is distinguished from the above-mentioned variant with the slots, which is characterized by being particularly easy to assemble with the recesses through a particularly stable and reliable positive connection.
The posts can be attached or attached to the docking elements. In this way, a simple and quickly achieved plug-in connection is created. The docking elements can preferably already be preassembled on the cabin roof before the posts are attached. The pinning, which is preferably carried out by a vertical movement of the posts downwards towards the docking elements, can be particularly advantageous in the case of the previously described first variant with the fingers and slots.
Furthermore, it can be advantageous if the respective finger of the docking element is formed by a projection extending in the horizontal direction. The finger or fingers are thus arranged at the edge of the docking element and do not increase the overall height of the docking element.
The respective finger can be rectangular in plan view. Such a form-fitting element can be manufactured simply and precisely. Instead of fingers that are rectangular in plan view, however, other shapes with fingers would also be possible to create a finger joint. However, a web-wedge connection would also be conceivable for the form-fitting connection of post and docking element.
The docking element is particularly advantageously provided with a plurality of fingers on each side provided for the form fit. The docking element can thus have a profile on the edge, created by cuts, with rectangular shapes that form a type of comb structure.
A particularly simple and compact docking element can be created if the docking element is a component made up of one or more plates. For this purpose, metal plates made of steel or another metallic material can be used, for example. This creates a flattened component with a low overall height. The car roof with the pre-assembled docking elements attached to it can be transported to the intended location for the elevator system in a space-saving manner.
If the docking element is a multi-plate and preferably layered component, it may be advantageous if there is a docking plate provided with the finger or fingers and a spacer plate for spacing or lifting the fingers from the top of the roof so that the finger or fingers is exposed or exposed, includes. In this way, a reliable engagement between the finger and the associated slot can be achieved for a stable form fit.
In principle, it is conceivable to attach the docking element with the spacer plate and the docking plate directly to the top of the roof. However, if the top of the roof is formed by surface elements in a sandwich construction, for example with a PU foam core, it can be advantageous if the docking plate and the spacer plate can each rest on a larger base plate. The spacer plate lies between the docking plate and the base plate.
It can also be advantageous if the docking element is screwed onto the roof in each case. The dimensions in relation to the top view of the docking element can correspond approximately to those of the post.
The post can each be an L-profile. A balustrade with such an L-shaped post has the advantage that the balustrade is particularly light. A plurality of slots can be provided at the ends on both legs of the L-profile. The associated docking element can be rectangular and in particular square in plan view, with two sides of the rectangle facing the “L” each being provided with a plurality of fingers.
For a stable balustrade, it can be advantageous if it is secured by means of sloping support profiles for stiffening. An upper anchoring point for the respective support profile can be located at the handrail of the balustrade and a lower anchoring point for the respective support profile can be located on the top of the roof. The respective support profile can be connected to a post at the height of the handrail. However, the respective support profile can also be connected to the handrail, preferably in the vicinity of the post. The lower anchor point for the respective support profile can preferably in the area of an adjacent The edge of the roof is located so that the supporting profile connecting the upper to the lower anchorage point is arranged outside the accessible roof top. The respective support profile can thus be connected directly or indirectly (via the handrail) to the post.
Such support profiles could also be advantageous for balustrades of elevator cars with docking elements without fingers and without slits or recesses associated with the posts that interact with the fingers to create the form fit. In other words, these support profiles could also be used in an elevator car which has a balustrade arranged on the roof of the elevator car, the balustrade comprising posts attached to a horizontal top side of the roof and spars connecting the posts. For each post, a docking element is arranged on the top of the roof, to which the post is docked or can be docked, the docking element having at least one positive-locking element for receiving the post in a positive-locking manner and the post having at least one post-positive-locking element that is complementary to the aforementioned positive-locking element.
On the roof of the elevator car, a roof profile arranged outside the walkable area of the top of the roof can be attached. This outer area of the top of the roof is an area of the top of the roof facing the adjacent shaft wall, starting from the balustrade as a separating part. In other words, the roof profile is arranged on the upper side of the roof, offset outwards relative to the balustrade in relation to the handrail. The roof profile can be positioned directly on the edge of the roof and have a side wall section which is flush with the side wall of the cabin. It is advantageous if the aforementioned respective support profile is connected to the roof profile described here.
The respective support profile can be connected to the roof profile on one side and/or to the post or handrail on the other side by means of T-shaped connecting elements, preferably designed as bent parts made of metal.

The elevator car 1 has a car body with a floor (not shown),
Roof profiles 11 are arranged on the
The
The
The docking element is a flattened component made up of two
The respective form-fitting sections of the
The
The

In addition to the
The inclined support profiles 12 and 13 conduct horizontal forces acting on the
